I will not have anytime to blog until saturday night. The Goodwill auction is this weekend in ytown. This is when I push and shove junior league members to snag aurora borealis necklaces that are priced at $3-$5. I am taking my digital camera and cavewoman on friday.
Saturday's auction will be attended by Mary.
I will post my hauls later that night.

I am hoping for a pink aurora borealis pin, Haviland china, vintage perfume bottles and other well priced goodies.

Once again our Annie scores the goodies! She is much more experienced at this event than I am. She is now the proud owner of my dream necklace!
Highlight of the evening was seeing a Nanette Lepore bag up for auction. The bag was donated by Nanette's sister and brother in law, who live here.
I'm a bit bruised by the shoving. But I did find some pretty faux pearls, and one necklace made of five strands of the tiniest rice pearls. They're real! I bit them to make sure.

The Lepore family is from Youngstown, Nanette's family still lives here, and yes, that is Michelle Hagen who is married to Bobby. Michelle and Nanette are sisters.
