Blogdorf Goodman is a mishmash of beauty product reviews, musings on fashion and swooning over fragrances.

Cavewoman and I have been thinking about the next product review project. A lot of you have requested mascara reviews. I thought it would be fun to have a mass blogging event with several blogs participating in the mascara reviews. Would any of you be interested?

Thanks to everyone who visited yesterday. I hope you continue to come. Cavewoman will be doing primer reviews for the entire lent season. On Easter Sunday I will recap the reviews. I can not promise you a cool graph but I can find a jazzy picture and put the primers in order according to the score.

I also promise to get back to fashion soon. I can say that you are not missing much at the LA shows.
They are pretty awful.

Count me in. I am mascara obsessed. I have tried so many, and have strong opinions about the ones I like and dislike.

I have totally been keeping up with the left coast fashion shows. There are some that impress me and some that confuse me.

Wonderful!
P and I are going to dinner to discuss details next week. I will let you know what we come up with. If you have any ideas let me know via email(I put in my profile) or in this post.

Peej and Mary: The LA shows are pretty awful. They have never been anything exciting but this year is magnificently horrific. They are like a trainwreck.
I will say there were some bright moments at Kara Saun's collection.
Other standouts were Kevan Hall's collection and the stunning plum coat at Elsie Katz. I hope to do a post soon.

Dear Blogdorf--am interested in your La Prarie foundation. Have been using Chanel's Vitalumiere, both cream and liquid, but find it seems to "cake" especially on lines. Any suggestions?

Hi Anon:
The La Prairie foundation is called Skin Caviar foundation concealer. It is the Rolls Royce of foundations. Check out the reviews on makeupalley for the raves:

Cavewoman is smitten with their primer along with the Smashbox primer. These truly help with making makeup "stay put" on the face.
P also reviewed a Chanel primer that scored very high on her rating scale. I plan on doing a recap of the scores of all the primers on Easter Sunday. I hope this gives you some good ideas on what to try. Let us know if you have any sucess or find any holy grail products.

Katie at Scentzilla has created a very cool graphic for us to use when the time comes.

So cavewoman states that she can do up to one month of reviews just on mascara's alone. I know most people can not do this. So I was thinking of a week long mascara blitz and then anyone who wants to continue can finish it out with cavewoman. I was thinking May. I wanted to give P a break after the primers. We might squeeze in the red lipstick project while we are waiting.
What do you think?
