I am still doing the fragrance challenge. I have been wearing Parfums Delrae's Bois de Paradis and Amoureuse. I decided to test Amoureuse due to griffie's raves at lunch. This is a strong willed fragrance. It takes no prisoners.
The notes are jasmine, tuberose, tangerine, melon, honey, caradmom, ginger lily, cedar and sandalwood. This jasmine note is louder than the jasmine used in Joy. It is heady and walks into a room before you do. Its is available at TAK and Aedes. If you are a makeupalley regular you have to go check out baybe's review of Amoureuse. It is hilarious.
I have raved and swooned over Bois de Paradis before. I really need to just cave on a bottle. I am living off of decants. Today I wore the last of my Barbara Bui. That is another gem of a fragrance. So comforting and lovely.
Please post your fragrance of the day in the comments. Do you love it? Would you repurchase it?

I am wearing Bois de Paradis! Finally caved and bought a bottle at Tak on Saturday.
I had D&G Light Blue in my hands this morning and then I changed my mind. I'm wearing Fragonard Apres Tout, which combines rose, violet, and oakmoss. It doesn't get much better than this to match my favorite notes. I got this in a swap and would re-buy without a doubt!
I bought Amoureuse at Tak at the end of a long day when its gorgeous green boxwood honeyed sweetness struck me as the most gorgeous olfactory expression of bittersweet longing. Thereafter, every time I uncapped the bottle, it whacked me over the head with a lead pipe. I ended up RAOKing it to somebody, just to get it out of my life and over the despair of feeling like I should wear it but being totally incapable of doing so without pain.
Forgot to post my Scent of the Day: Carnal Flower. Would I repurchase? I didn't purchase in the first place, but as you know, I'm planning on a lil' bottle.
i bought bois de paradis from a lovely woman who owns a shop and online store, lusciouscargo.com. she sent me a sample of amoureuse too. i adore amoureuse for fall/winter but it's too heady for spring/summer, when i switch to bois. every time i smell it i fall in love with it.
