I caught this picture on Makeupalley's cafe board. They are cakes made by Colette Peters.
In that moment an important decision was made. My wedding cake will be a vintage Guerlain bottle. It will be Mitsouko.
The question of the day to my perfume friends: What perfume would you choose to be in cake form?
BTW: My cake will be italian rum.

Well that explains the much vaunted "cupcake accord!"
What a fun idea! I have no idea how they keep their shape but those are fabulous cakes!
Hmmmm - which one would I like as a cake? Alchimie de Rochas would be fun, with its bulbous bottle and minaret top. The flavor? Something wonderfully spicy with lots of cardamom, orange glazed icing between the layers, and a thin layer of orange-flavored dark chocolate shell over it. Not that I ever think about cake... :-D
I won't ever have another wedding cake, but I think I would choose either the original Shalimar bottle, or maybe Lolita Lempicka, complete with lavender frosting and gilded leaves!
I think the Gres Cabaret bottle would make a great looking cake, because it looks like a red and orange Space Needle. xoxo

Oh, those are so pretty! Almost too pretty to eat (I said, ALMOST too pretty to eat).
Wow. Those are amazing cakes. Now if they just made cakes that resembled bath & body products (dark chocolate thank you very much with a fudgy chocolate center) I would be very happy. :)
