I stumbled across this photograph on Just Jared. There is just something haunting about this Gap ad.

Thank you for posting this. Mia Farrow's quote reminds me of the poem "One Art" by Elizabeth Bishop ("The art of losing isn't hard to master..."), one of my favorites.

I agree...I think this picture of her is wonderful. She has the face of someone who has survived so gracefully and seemed to come out the better for all the pain she suffered. She's still so ethereal. I loved her in The Purple Rose of Cairo, the sweetness of her character. Hard to believe someone who captured her so well could do her so much harm.
I was shocked by this Gap ad because she doesn't look like that in real life. There seems to be some major airbrushing going on in the GAP advertising studio, she looks so young.
