Rock the Gloss Challenge for friday September 29th 2006:
This will be my last gloss challenge post. I want to thank everyone who participated. This challenge made me revisit lipsticks and glosses that I had forgotten or ignored.
Today I am wearing Chantecaille's Cerise(a repeat) with MAC's Blue Memory layered over it.
Cerise is a stunning blue based red. The best I have found so far.
Blue Memory is a shimmery light blue gloss. I bought it because it reminded me of my favorite Chanel's Crystal Blue.
I am not going into work today. Instead I am attending the first day of the Saks Beauty Event with Cavewoman, Soul Girl, Mrs Roland, Griffie, Koneko and Mr LoveJoy. We are also going to check out the new Armani cosmetic counter. I might have more lipsticks and glosses to report about on monday.
So for the last time....What is your lippie today?
What was your best "lippie rediscovery" during this challenge?
Have a great weekend!!!!

Oh how sad! So how long did the Rock the Gloss Challenge last? And does this mean you've gone through all of your glosses now? Or is there more? (I would be scared if you said you actually had more!)
so what I'm going while i'm sipping my morning Starbucks DoubleShot?:) I'm wearing VS Beauty Rush in Piece of Cake and WnW l/l/ in 666. I think my favorite ones are the CJ's that I wore because i have sooo many. I loved reading what everyone was wearing and It felt good to know that I was not alone in my lip gloss obssession.
I'll miss rocking the gloss with you ladies every morning!
Today I am wearing Paul & Joe Vin Rouge lipstick with a little bit of Almay Pinched Pink gloss over it.
During the challenge I discovered Paul & Joe Confiture de Framboises and MAC Viva Glam VI, two new favorites!
I rediscovered Fresh Gloss Absolute in Dahlia, Clinique Rose Spectrum, and L'Oreal Color of Hope (which they really should bring back, by the way).
Oh wow. It's done. I didn't get to participate as much as I might have wanted. I'm curious though about your Chantecaille's Cerise. Is it similar to the MAC Diva? Just thought I'd ask, I'm wearing the Diva to a cocktail function tonight.
I recommend E.L.F lip gloss in pink lemonade. You need to check out this great site with fashion and styling tips called CodeTV. It's on top of NYC and LA's hot spots too. I love it! http://link.brightcove.com/services/link/How+To%3A+Blow+Dry/bcpid78334397/bctid219257941
Today's lippie: Chanel Infrarouge in Dragon. Love the color, hate the smell and not so keen on the texture.
Fave recent rediscovery: Avon's Dimension Lipstick in Cherry Flip. Which has - of course - been discontinued, so I'll have to hoard my tube :~P A painful reminder to myself to quit buying their stuff. Cheap is nice, but not at the price of love lost.
I have enjoyed rocking the gloss with all you festive ladies. I'm wearing Cargo Nevis topped with Cargo Xai Xai gloss. I don't have nails, don't wear nail polish but I'll still be reading your blog!
HAGW!!!!!!!! cheers, sara
hello dear annie!
this was a very fun run. although I am not a nailpolish girl, i can't wait for next month! ;-)
today (as you saw!) i wore Armani Mania lipstick #27 a glowing berry color w/ Armani Midnight Lip Shimmer in #6 (lovely blackberry w/ blue sparkles) on top. This combo is one of my favorites.
One of my favorite "re-discovereds" was Armani Lip Shimmer #4. It's a truly unique color... lavender-beige-taupe. It's very cool-based, and a little difficult to wear.
no lippie today...
on nailpolish month: how about a challenge between chanel black satin and rimmel black (something)?
Today, a new combo that I'm in love with- MAC Pink Maribu with EL High Shine in Amethyst (a lovely gift from Cavewoman :) - beautiful, happy combo. And smells good too!
