Rock the Gloss Challenge for September 8th 2006:
How many people does it take to screw in a lipstick?
If you are Doris Day, twenty-two. Word has it she had this number of makeup men to do her face.
(this quote is taken directly from Lipstick by Jessica Pallingston. In case your wondering...I love Doris Day!!!!)
What is your lippie for today? Mine is Chanel's Glossimer in Spark. I was a huge fan of glossimer products. Today I find them gritty and slightly annoying.

7 Inspired Comments:
New lip color today: Revlon Super Lustrous lipgloss in Peachy Sheen. It's from the Halle Berry Star Style collection.
one of my buried treasures:Goldie Lipgloss in Blossom.
Today, Stila lipstick in Jane, a light peachy frost, good with a smoky eye (rocking my MAC Untamed eyeshadow quad).
I used to wear Pink Chocolate! It was a standard...might need to get another tube.
Naked lips today. All I've done is go out for dog food and gone to the gym (I'm NOT going to ever wear make-up to the gym!)
They can't all have been doing her face. I calculate one for each hand, to do her nails, one for each foot, one to massage her shoulders, one to do her hair, one to brush the lint off her hat, one to hand brushes to the main makeup guy, one to massage the makeup guy, and the rest to stand around and gossip.
Today: Chanel lipstick in Pretty, a dark blue-based pink that goes fantastically with the lilac dress I was wearing.
Yesterday I tested DuWop's Venom gloss in Tulip. Great color! Tingly fun. I didn't notice my lips getting that much more volume, but given that they're my lips, perhaps that's better for everyone. I may cave anyway, next paycheck.
Nobody rocked a suit like Doris. And she had great comic timing, and was a genuinely talented singer. Go Doris!
Today I tried Bobbi Brown Brown, but it was too dark for my face & the weather. So I switched to Chanel Glossimer in Giggle, which I found one last tube of in Toronto.
