My Gothic Romance gone Sour:
My Chanel counter has not called me about the Chanel Black Satin nail polish. I was #50 on the list so I was a long shot.
I snoozed...so I lost.
So I am going to let Avril show how I feel toward the Chanel company.
I will get over it.
Chanel just gave me the best makeover I have ever had in my entire life.
I will post pictures of my mini haul soon.

Feh, how hard can it be to find black nailpolish?
Honestly, my Chanel store said that they didn't expect to see it for weeks (November/ December). I called Nordstrom on Monday and they said the same. Hey, maybe Chanel will send you a free bottle like Lancome sent you the lipstick, oui?
I was not aware you wanted this--I got some in Europe. It was almost sold out there too.
I'm #20 at my local Chanel counter & haven't been called either, so maybe they haven't gotten any in.
The best black is Wet & Wild. 99 cents.
BTW, I know Lindsay Lohan is a dirty skanky girl, but she's so cute.
I am just way impressed at how normal LaLohan looks here. Back to her old gorgeous hair colour, lively looking face (if a bit tired under the eyes)... I have loved her since her Parent Trap days, and can't seem to stop.
And of course, those nails! I think I prefer them to Black Satin... I like that hint of mahogany.
A friend of mine actually works at the Chanel counter at our local Lord & Taylor and she said that they were expecting the Black Satin shipment on November 15th, so maybe the same is the case for other counters and it will just take a while. Cross your fingers for the call :)
