Chanel Black Ceramic Nail Polish
Already gone in NorthEast Ohio.
According to the SA's at Macys and Saks this little bottle did not last long at the counter. I am on a waiting list for the 2nd shipment. I must be a silly girl to ask to be placed on a waiting list for a nail polish.
But there I was handing over my Saks card and giving them my home number.
Is it worth the hype? Maybe.
It has an added kick of shimmer with flashes of midnight blue.
It was the flash that sold me.
As of right now....the polish is available on Nordstorm's website. Grab bottles while you can.

Anyway...
Griffie felt that the shimmer was very similiar to Lippman's Hit Me With Your Best Shot.
What are everyone's thoughts? Anyone purchase it?

I'm still avoiding the black thing. Not sure why I have such an aversion to it. This week I'm all about Essie's Double Dip. It even looks festive.

I think it is a great idea to go on the waiting list if you really like something because purchasing it on ebay for a zillions dollars is really silly.
I like Misa Wishing on a Star the best, still. But I do like Inframetal and Noir Ceramic (I see Tiffany blue shimmer in it!) much better than Black Satin. And for those of you on eBay, watch out for the Euro version of Black Satin. It is a straight black creme, which you can get from Milani or various other drug store brands for a fraction of the price.

Noir Ceramic is intended to be the same color and the black ceramic watches sold by Chanel (and the Blanc Ceramic is to match the white ceramic watches as you might expect!!) All the Chanel polishes that I have include the words "Le Vernis" --it means "varnish" in French. However, your box should ALSO say "Noir Ceramic" as well as the #337.

Your best bet is a waiting list at a Chanel counter,looking at the swap lists on makeupalley or just cold calling the Chanel counters. I am sure there are some floating around.
I can only tell you that Ohio is dry...none to be had.

I too caved on the hype and now realize I do not need this polish ,, and wil hardly use it. I am going to return it and just get a cheapie from drugstore. I may be doing that later today, so if anyone wants my bottle, still in box, go to MUA, I am Dartz there and mail me thru there or leave a message under this post and maybe we can work something out.
I got mine at Macys in Hamilton mall, Mays Landing, NJ ( as little of a hotbed as Youngstown), you may also be able to call and get some .
It is a nice polish, btw. I just don't need to spend the money on it.
I now have red nails with Christmas trees. complements of a nail salon, my first time letting someone do my nails since I was a kid. Loved those Christmas designs and I had a gift cet. They look fab.
Hi everyone. I just went to my local Chanel counter to buy myself some christmas presents (I ended up getting the new polish in Wonderland and the new quadra shadow in Demure, both of which are stunning) and I noticed that they have quite a few Black Ceramics left. I would have gotten one myself, but I just got the OPI Black Onyx which I am pretty happy with and couldn't justify buying more black. If anyone is desperate, I would be happy to purchase and ship for them!
i just got my noir ceramic to replace my lost lipp. hit me with yr best shot. I think with my olive skin though, the purple shimmer of the latter is more wearable than the blue shimmer of noir. How I wish I didn't lose it!

If you're still going crazy looking for CHANEL's Noir Ceramic, Macy's Nanuet location, (845) 623-4100, still has 6 available as of today. Also, Neiman Marcus in White Plains, (914) 428-2000, has Blanc Ceramic available as well. So get truck'n girl!!!

I went to White Plains Neiman, and they have a ton of blanc ceramic.
I LOVE Noir Ceramic more than Black Satin. (I had to buy both on EBAY:( ) Black Satin is a little blah, and the so called shimmer is too subtle...I've gotten a ton of compliments on the noir ceramic.
