I have seen it in person and it looks pretty cheaply made and feels pretty cheap. I hate saying this since so many people seem to like the look of it, and I generally like Kimchi & Blue, but I had to speak up. Sorry ladies!

There is no need to apologize. We need to know this. I had my friend Tbone search for a HM coat for me. Once she found it she did a quality check over the phone with me. I ended up passing on the coat. I would have hated ordering that coat "unseen" and then being disappointed with the way it looked or felt.

A, I just realized that I ordered this coat for my 17 year old for Christmas.
It looks pretty good, although the material feels a bit like felt. It is awfully cute, and a teenager would get a lot of mileage out of it. I would not suggest it, however, for anyone over 22.

I saw it on a woman today at H&M. My friend ran her down and asked her where she got it, that's how much she liked the coat. Personally, I thought it looked kind of cheap, although the ruffle details are very cute, the color looks more pink in person.
I hate rouse up trouble, but I was in Macy's today (trying desperately to get a beee-autiful BCBG coat... unsuccessfully. *sigh*) when I believe I saw this coat! Jessica Simpson, believe it or not, has a line of coats (!) and I think I saw the one she is wearing in the photo today. I think it's a "Jessica Simpson" coat that she's wearing, there. It was very red indeed, was a good quality, and looked very wearable for those over 22. Mayhaps the Urban coat is a Simpson imitation?

I agree with the previous posts. I ordered it online and felt exactly the same way about the quality of the coat-its very flimsy/the wool looks like it sheds easily and not really functional. I ended up returning it. It’s perfect for the teens though. Cheers guys!
Thanks a bunch anonymous!!! I knew the urban outfitters wasn't the same one b/c the collar was ruffled, the color wasn't as bright, and the bottom wasn't as long as jessica's. But the uo's one people posted was a good copy. I am definitely heading over to my local macy's tommorrow. I am desperate for the original and hope it looks good in person. I actually thought Jessica only had a shoe line. But go figure lol. I really do appreciate everyone's help, especially Annieytown for posting my question.

I saw Jessica's simpsons line of coats yesterday at a department store and they are really good quality, a way more than $140 like this coat is. more in the $300's, they have cashmere in them. my friend has this coat from Urban Outfitters and it looked cute on, but it has a rougher feel, not as soft, as wood/cashmere blends.
Love the ruffle though!
Norstoms has a Jessica Simpson, "platter collar" coat in black or cream for $188 that is cute. It is cuter in person than online.
