Giorgio Armani Spring RTW 2007 and Cate Blanchett at the 2007 SAG Awards.

Why did they fiddle with the length?
My only guess is that she wanted to show off the shoes....and they hemmed it up with tape in the limo.
It looks so damn wrong.

Mine was Jennifer Hudson.

I thought Cate's gown was fitted well until the hem.
That hem made me crazy.

I must agree with Annie. The hem is oddly abrupt.

I have to agree with Annie too. It is so lovely, but the length is just too short. It is a very Art Deco sort of gown and needs the drama of a fuller length.

I love the dress, too, but agree that it is oddly a tad too short.

But she's always perfection, isn't she?

Hugs!

I think the gown looks perfect on her.
As long as she can pull it off, why not?
