Its been quite a while since I discovered the beauty blog Meg's Makeup Review. I am a consumer who likes to research potential products before a purchase. I like to see what other beauty junkies are thinking.
Megs Makeup review is like an online Beauty Consumer Report. Members all test the same product and then give an unbiased report. It is a wonderful mixture of both positive or negative reviews. There are no reviews that just state "This lotion stinks." Instead a beauty lover will state exactly why the lotion is foul.
The reviews are direct, straight forward and informative.
I was honored when she asked me to contribute. I was also excited because I would have the opportunity to try unique beauty products. Since I live in Ohio it is hard to locate "off the beaten track" beauty items. The closest Sephora is a good hour drive away.
My first review was for a Stephen Knoll Hydro Repair Hair Mist Styling Lotion.
I was skeptical at first.
You see my hair is very difficult.
In fact...hairdressers try to close shop when they see me coming.
It is thick and there is a lot of it. I have so much hair that it takes 2-3 people to dry it with hairdryers that look like industrial fans.
This product managed to tame my frizzies and keep them away.
The performance was jaw dropping.

I'll never have to return $300 makeup and be embarrassed at the neimans counter again... thank god.
I wonder if this stuff would work on my baby-fine flyaway hair?
My hairdresser tells me to embrace my frizz, which is unbearable on hot humid days... but I wouldn't mind finding a cure.
Anon: You will get hooked.
Once you start reading reviews...you will be inspired to start writing your own reviews.

It will!!!!!
My mother borrowed it and loved it.
She has very limp baby fine hair.
I was amazed and impressed that it worked so well for the both of us.
"It is thick and there's a lot of it" pretty much describes my own hair. That's why I abandoned any hopes for ever getting it styled and just grew it intoa Cousin It-like mane. It's a signature look of sorts ;-)
