I sure hope Ford's Black Orchid doesn't win. Although the bottle is gorgeous, and the print ads are stunningly beautiful, the juice inside is putrid.

I am hoping L'artisan Feu D'Absinthe wins for men's limited outlets, Armani Code for the main women's title (how often does a big brand produce a great scent??? but this is definitely one) along with L'Air De Rien by Miller Harris, (the perfume created for Jane Birkin by Lyn Harris) for limited outlet women's ... And Terre D'hermes for men's main title ... but you know that the big spenders tend to win. Cynical Moi? Nadine
I'm glad that BR Rosewood is on there, because I think it's such a nice and different smelling scent...great for BR.
Hmmm...I keep on hearing so much about the Bond no. 9 line of fine perfume and I am dying to try them. Can anyone give me any recommendation on which one to try. I love D & G's Light Blue and anything that is fresh, light floral and citrusy (lemon and mandrine). Is there anything in the line similar?

Fire Island is gorgeously unisex. tanning lotion is ALWAYS unisex, and i still hold that it smells like Fred and Ginger, dancing, and who would dare claim Mr. Astaire was overtly feminine, silk-scarf-belt notwithstanding?
i'm quite pleased by this year's fifis. usually i want to throw up at the dreck they nominate. this time they actually exhibit some good taste.
