Nars Coquette Summer 2007

I went to Beachwood this last weekend to do some shopping or what I like to call "researching topics for my blog".
It really is all about shopping but I like to fool myself into thinking I am doing serious field work.

This Nars summer series launches 3 duo cream eyeshadows, 1 cream shadow, 2 lipsticks and 1 lipgloss. I am not a fan of cream eyeshadows but my head was seriously turned by the quartz shade Madagascar. It is a shimmery fusion of gray, purple and taupe. The lippie standout is striptease. This is a true nude with no pink or brown undertones. This has to be tested because it will either go fleshy fabulous or "land of the living dead" on the lips. It is a crap shoot.
Sexual Healing is lovely and worth caving on. It is offically on my lemming list.

If you are lemming anything from the collection call Alesha at 216-292-5500 ext: 256

Duo Cream Eyeshadows $31.00
Madagascar-- satin nude and smoky quartz

Repromotes:
Mata Hari(which I might have to cave on) and Crazed blushes

Did you buy anything from NARS Coquette collection? I've seen them in person & love Pink Panther.

Great photos, Annie! I think I may have to have Pink Panther, too. Himalayas is a gorgeous powder shadow that looks white in the pan but flashes pink. It's my new great highlighter shadow and I'm glad I caved on that one. I agree about Sexual Healing. It's so pretty!

I saw pics somewhere last month and instantly put Pink Panther & Summer Time on my wishlist...

Striptease is a great lipgloss. I couldn't wait for it so I bought it a few months ago in the kit that came along with the Deep Throat blush at Sephora. It's gone a bit of a sheen to it with the right amount of pearl so the lips have the perfect amount of nude shine. One caveat: make sure your lips are super smooth. It will definitely highlight your chapped lips if you don't exfoliate them.

Thanks for posting the beautiful pictures. This is the first place I've seen actual photographs of this collection...been looking all over the Net.

Sexual Healing is on my wish list too.
