I have been obsessed with clover shades ever since I let that kelly green Marc Jacobs Multi Pocket handbag slip through my fingertips.

I fell hard for Dita Von Teese's stunning green trench coat but I am assuming that the price will make it an impossibility.
The Topshop version is much more wallet friendly.
It retails for around 55 pounds.

Lets talk spring coats. Have you bought any recently?

Spring jackets/coats well this year I invested in a see by chlo'e parkas & i absolutely love it. A couple of yrs ago I bought a beautiful trench coat and almost never wear it. should start wearing it, but thank god its a timeless piece so I don't need to worry to much. Want a coat w colour though to for those nights our or when u just wanna fell pretty, maybe that one would be a hit....

I think I need a traditional trench coat in both khaki and white, this green jacket and something in royal blue.

I really want Dita's coat...and purse.

I just picked up a bright red trapeze cut cropped (it ends just above my hips) jacket. It's not something I'd usually go for, but I love the fit and colour. It's got three big red buttons, and the 3/4 length sleeves poof a bit. The Topshop jacket is a similar shape, but the collars are different.

I really need a good spring/summer jacket. I have piles of winter coats (I live in Manitoba, Canada, so I need to be ready for that), but not much for warmer weather. I usually just end up throwing on a cardigan, hoodie or a blazer if I need another layer.

wow, that green jacket is gorgeous!

i just picked up a cute little jacket from a boutique in haight ashbury. it's kind of a ubiquitous style, but i love it and it's cute and flattering. it's beige with 3/4 length balloon sleeves, peter pan collar, and big buttons. i feel so springy wearing it!

Spring Coats! I love them! I bought a pale pink coat from Anthropologie, a khaki trench from BCBG, the black Mizrahi from TarJay, a little red jacket from Nordstrom, and the Madonna trench from H&M. Now if the weather would only cooperate here in Ohio, and we could possibly really HAVE a Spring season here, I can wear them!
Dita looks stunning in that photo!

I haven't really focused on buying a spring coat, but on my list is a classic one that could work for years (and for many occasions).

I recently got a fantastic all-over zebra print trench and I love it! I'm looking for green, too - the one you featured is great!

Tell me where to shop for spring coats! All I can seem to find in stores are little sundresses - not great when it's icy cold here in NY

Oh I love green as well, esp. kelly or deep emerald. Even school uniforms in green couldn't keep me away.
I have thought about the Isaac Mizrahi brocade Target one. I have a lime green trench thats great. Here in NJ we get very little spring weather, per se. is chilly than ramps to hot and humid.

Funny you should ask, I just picked up the loop-de-loop Trench coat from Anthropologie. It is a beautiful French Blue. I love it! Great for all this rainy weather we are having - though I hate to get it wet!

Um, let's talk for a minute about how much Dita looks like YOU in that pic! :) You both have the "Snow White" look, so lovely!

Zara has great spring coats, I'm currently lusting after a cropped yellow trapeze-shaped raincoat.... its gorgeous but I'm not sure i can pull it off. they also had great orange and green spring coats.

Sadly, this Florida girl doesn't have much to contribute -- I guess the money I would spend on coats, if I needed them, goes toward vintage jewelry :). That clover color is GORGEOUS!!

As a business traveler, I needed a work-appropriate spring coat in a fabric that would clean easily (airplanes and airports are so gross). Banana Republic's new trench is a great value for the money. The fabric (both in khakhi and black) is a nice cotton/acetate. I can wipe away little marks and keep it looking great for a while.

Bought a zebra print trench by INC and I adore it. Nine West has short leopard print trenches...a temptation.

Anon, thanks for suggesting the BR trench. That's the one style that I do use in FL and I need a new one. Thanks!

I can vouch for the banana republic trench too. It held up well yesterday in the nor easter we had and despite my many coffee drips hasn't stained yet!

Teri, I bought the loop-de-loop too! It's been too cold here to wear it!
