Eve Lom Rescue Mask

I have been "jumping at the bit" to test any Eve Lom skincare product. The buzz is that this is the skincare that will change your life.
I do not test many skincare products because my skin is temperamental and prone to sudden outbursts. I treat it like a sleeping giant. I do not wake it up and make it angry.

I decided to test Eve Lom because I believed it was worth the risk. I was desperate for a change and an improvement. I need a rescue from my skin issues.

Last night I tested the Lom Rescue Mask while watching television. This mask was created as a weekly treatment to help with skin flareups and drama.

You have to shake this tube very well. The mask formula is very wet but not clay like. It melts into the skin and is very mild. It does not make the skin tingle or tighten. Some masks will painfully tighten your skin that it makes it impossible to talk, smile or have any expression. This mask is actually comfortable.

You leave the mask on for 15 to 20 minutes. Afterwards you remove it with a damp muslin cloth. The skin is not irritated, blotchy and red. It feels silky smooth and fresh. The results are fairly fabulous and impressive.
I am officially a fan.
Eve Lom rocks!

Have you tried any of their other products? My skin sounds like yours - only right now it's "angry". I was wondering if their moisturizers are mild to the skin, but still moisturizing.

I can totally relate to treating your skin like a sleeping giant! I do the same! Will check this one out. Let us know if you try other Lom product! Molly

Sounds nice but the ingredients don't seem any more exciting than the $3 tube of clay mask you can get at the drugstore.

long time reader, first comment! i became an eve lom convert a few weeks ago. get the sampler kit from spacenk, you get the cleanser, rescue mask and moisturizer. the cleanser is amazing, it transformed my skin. i really didn't think it would work as well as everyone says, but for me, it did.

Annie,

Thanks for the heads up on this mask. I have been looking for a good one for awhile now.

I miss your fashion photos. Now, as can be seen on my blog, fashion, to some extent has become my latest obsession.

Happy holidays.

I also got the Eve Lom sampler kit at Space NK but sadly found that the cleanser leaves my skin dry and irritated (even after following the very specific, multi-step instructions)... and my skin woke up, got angry and broke out! I was hoping to have melliemel's reaction - transformed skin. Yes it transformed but unfortunately not for the better. Good tip to shake the mask tube, I thought mine had separated and was beyond reconstitution.

the eve lom moisturizer is extremely thick and rich-- which is a plus and a minus. i'm not sure yet what the face will look like after a few days...but it might be heaviest moisturizer ever put on..
