The texture of the crayon is very lipstick-like. It is ultra-moisturizing and emollient. I never expected a lip pencil to be so creamy. The lasting power is also impressive. I have worn it layered and alone. I have added my shimmer and pop lip glosses. It jumped through all the lippie hoops and stayed put. I give it high marks.
It retails for $22 and comes with a handy sharpener.

That's amazing it comes with a sharpener. I don't remember ever receiving a sharpener along with a lip or eye pencil purchase. That Bobbi Brown's a smart woman!

I have this too, and love it. The lasting power is AMAZING! This is a pinky nude on me. I swatched it and it's a somewhat pinker version of Sandwash Tulle.
This may well be my first lip liner lemming ever! Most nudes turn orangey on me, so I'd all but given up on finding the perfect nude lip liner.

Another good neutral lip liner is the Cat Cosmetics line. I love that thing! I have almost killed mine though, so maybe I will give the Bobbie Brown one a try next.
