Tomorrow begins the annual 40 Days and 40 Nights Beauty Project on Blogdorf Goodman

This is a project that was dreamed up by my good friend Patti aka Cavewoman. I can not remember if we were having a "blog meeting" while shopping at Saks or our local mall, but Patti came up with the first project that centered on primers.

We researched and visited every cosmetic counter and makeupalley's swap boards to get our hands on primer product. It was a stretch to come up with 40 primers. Many companies did not even carry a prime product.

Patti tested the primers like a pro. She worked the primers through a rigorous course of obstacles such as stress and winter weather. She used one foundation through the whole process and gave each and every primer a fair shot.

The next year we did 40 days of brands. We wrote about the crowd pleasers of every brand we could think of from makeup to fragrance.

This year we wanted to continue the tradition.

We had a lot of ambitious ideas from 40 days of red lipstick reviews to taupe eyeshadows. Instead we decided to go with something kookier and more fun.
We decide to go with 40 days and 40 nights of Beauty Cult Classics.

We are going to write about some of our favorite products that have become cult classics in the beauty world.

We will discuss the discontinued to the drugstore favorites.

We will also discuss the cult classics that we consider busts.
