August's Lucky Recap
This issue had a beautiful cover. The makeup and model were perfect. I am a huge Gossip Girl fan so it was delightful to learn that Leighton Meester is a huge perfume fanatic. Leighton states that she is "sorta obsessed with perfume".
How obsessed?
Because I know some obsessed perfume fans. Most are close and personal friends.

Page 50: The Cotton Blend Top $36 is from JCPenneys. Has anyone found these pieces online or at your local store? I have had no luck!
The Rebecca Taylor peacock blue satin handbag is $325. I loved this color!
Page 58: The Fox necklace is $85. There is just something about this piece that I love.
Page 76: The Kate Spade flats with the berry ribbons. Must have more berry in my wardrobe!
Page 90: The velvet huggable hangers
Page 95: The Bumble and Bumble Creme De Coco Masque. I am itching to try these products since Beauty Addict's review.
Page 110: The Smashbox Gloss in Pink Lily. It looks incredible!
The Fresh In-Flight Face Mask with Moringa. Has anyone tried this? Does it work?
Page 112: Sally Hansen's Sheerleader and Z Bigatti Footlights cream
Page 114: I was slightly disappointed with her picks. I did want to try Balmain's Ambre Gris.
Page 122: The Sequined top from Arden B. It is priced at $78 and might be promising.
Page 142: The raspberry cords. They are priced at a whopping $470. I hope J Crew does a version for fall. The color is so amazing.

I loved this month's issue, despite the fact that I may be the only 21 year old in the US who didn't know who the cover girl was! I've been to Honey in the Rough and I'm tempted to go back for that fox necklace =) It was adorable!
And I bought the Creme de Coco masque because of Beauty Addict, and while I haven't tried it yet, I did get some samples of B&B Deeep Treatment which is a hair masque for seriously fried hair, and it was MIRACULOUS. I highly recommend it!

thinking about that fox necklace as well( it reminds me of some things I had and still have from when i was little) and Ambre Gris. Thats been on the to try list for awhile.

I still have yet to get my issue and Im a subscriber. One would think we would be first..... I love Gossip Girl and think Leighton Meester is so beautiful and I love her character on the show so Im bummed I don't have it yet. My look may be more Serena than Blair because of my face, hair, etc but I would take Chuck over Nate or Dan any day.

OMG I totally agree about the Forever21 comment. I never, ever find anything featured by them. Whenever I see something I like & I see it's from F21, i'm bummed because I know I won't find it :(

Heidi, the Gap blouse is now on sale, it's a part of their Product Red line. They also have it in black. I would check it out online or your local Gap that carries Product Red, mine is arriving in the mail today (thanks to Blogdorf!) Thanks :)
I tried the Bumble & Bumble Creme de Coco shampoo and it is amazing. Next up will be the hair masque.
We so seldom disagree, A., but I found this month's issue rather meh. Of course you did hit the highlights that were there!
My HUGE peeve: that photographer they used as the emblem of NY chic. O. M. G. In the first picture she's wearing an ill-fitting long-sleeved blouse, some kind of awful shoulder-slung bag and utterly ho-hum walking shorts. There are four million women in this town and this is what they pick as chic? She must be sleeping with somebody.
