Kama by Farmacia SS. Annunziata

This is an Italian fragrance line that can trace its origins to the 15th century. I expected something Guerlain in nature but got something strangely fresh and uncomplicated. The main ingredient I detected was rice powder. Powder fragrances can be lovely or overpowering. This fragrance just manages to be sweet and comforting instead of going into cheap baby powder territory.

There is an opening note of petit grain. This is an orange-like scent that is often used to calm anxiety and nerves.
I can vouch that it works.
Red grapefruit is mixed in with a very faint rose petal. This opening is just one of the most lovely beginnings to a fragrance.
They managed to add a very whispery patchouli note that is far from dirt or leaves. By all textbook accounts this is not my type of fragrance. However I want to be the type of girl who wears it. It is all innocent, charming and feminine.
The bottle retails for $120 and is available at Lucksycent.

Hi Abbie!

My fragrance tastes are pretty broad. I love everything from a good incense to a white floral. I have been wearing Bond's Lexington Avenue all this week....I am addicted.
Last week I wore Paul & Joes Bleu(the best amber scent) and Serge Lutens Fumerie Turque. I love the new Lancome. Frederic Malle's Carnal Flower is one of my favorite scents of all time. In fact....I worship Frederic Malle.
I could go on and on.
I am just like you...I spend way too much $$$ on beauty stuff. I am a beauty junkie all the way.
