Christian Dior HC Spring 2009
The show was standard Galliano. The inspirations ranged from dutch tulips, delftware, milkmaids, the three musketeers and flemish art. It is hard to focus on the clothes when the models truly can not walk in the shoes. I do not understand why designers are insisting on continuing this trend. Do they realize that it is painful to watch?

I love your posts on the fashion shows! Somehow, you always manage to find paintings that look exactly like the dresses in the pictures! I'm always amazed.
Also, I completely agree about the shoes...I watched the video clip you included in the post and it made me cringe to see the poor girls teetering down the stage.
i love this post!!! i agree with jaimehwkns. for some reason, i think you are in the fine art line or somewhere related...
i love your fashion show commentary. i agree about the shoes, most of the time, they edit that stuff down.
how many humans are actually expected to wear anything that walks the haute runways? why not go OTT with the shoes?
I love seeing fashion and art relations!
wow. so right about the shoes. that's just sad. y do designers torture these girls? they're already so skinny that if they fall they r sure to break a bone...
Very nicely done ...
are those dress inspired by the paintings? I mean they almost looks the same but with just a little make over, but anyways all looks great and lovely..
