A lipstick is worth a hundred words
by Jessica M
Candy lipsticks! Suppose you’re a young girl, seven or eight, and you’re obviously not allowed to wear “real” lipstick yet. You might get one of these candies as a Halloween trick-or-treat, or in your goody bag at a birthday party. The candy itself is nothing special – it’s a glorified Smartie, chalky and artificially sweet – but you can keep the lipstick part long afterwards. You can use it when you play dress-up, you can carry it around in your pencil case or little purse, and you’ll always feel very grown-up and fancy when you pretend to put it on. Remember?

hehe, I've got a sweet tooth and loved these edible lipsticks, but my favorite lipstick/candy combo is still the candy-coated chocolate malted milk eggs. Still get a strange satisfaction painting my lips blue, white, and neon pink. And Easter's just around the corner. Ha!
Of course I remember! And I did it all exactly like you've written it here! Exactly! ;] Molly
