Lancome Cobalt Blue Brush Set
I have been struggling with a serious beauty rut lately. Nothing is bringing me any joy. I can not remember when I last gushed or swooned.
Then Lancome jump started this blogger's lemming heart!
These are the most beautiful makeup brushes I have ever seen. That pop of blue in a sea of ink! I die!
This is a picture taken of a picture in the new issue of Allure( It is low tech here in the Blogdorf office!). Allure reports that the brushes will be available on July 17th 2009 @ Nordstorm.com. It retails for $52. I have no other deets other than this. I have no clue if it is a Nordstorm exclusive or if the set will be available at local counters across the states.
All I know is...these will be mine.

Butbutbut...$52 isn't much for that many brushes, which leads me to question their quality/softness. The most beautiful brush in the world won't do you much good if it's scratchy. I wonder how they feel? And would the color run when you wash 'em?

My guess is that they are mini-brushes. I hope they are soft as sable and the blue is bright.

I was feeling the same way...nothing was tickling my fancy...til' I saw those sonia kashuk coral collection brushes...Oh Gah!! These Lancome brushes are GORGE!! I dare not lemmming them!

i can just FEEL the softness of those brushes...$52 for all four ain't a bad deal either. I wonder if they are full sized.
I am SO getting these brushes! I don't "need" them and I'm not fond of dual ended brushes, but I don't care. I am so getting these. CURSES to you Annie for creating this lemming!
BTW. I have 2 of the softest and most wonderful brushes that were GWP brushes from Lancome. They are still in perfect condition and they are almost 15 years old!
I bet these are Nordstrom exclusives for the Anniversary sale...time to start getting my list together!
They indeed are the prettiest brushes I have seen! I love the matching rose logo of Lancome as well. But I wonder, what else is special about these brushes besides the color? I'm looking for good brushes to replace my old set and as much as I love these I gotta think performing quality as well..
The brush set it (as far as I am aware) Nordstrom exclusive for the anniversary sale. You should be able to pre-order them now..I love the black/blue combination very unique.

Those are beautiful! I would have a tough time deciding between these and the Jemma Kidd ones with hot pink metal details.
