The Movie On Your Eyelids
MAC Starflash Eye Shadows
The Love That Look collection features 12 shades ranging from the now famous Smoke & Diamonds to Style Snob. There is no color theme to this collection really. There are dirty shades along with trippy greens. There are also highly wearable and useful shades such as Grand Entrance(a peachy beige) and Unbasic White.
The quality of starflash shadows is the real story. The texture can be rhapsodized as being similar to marshmallow fluff to cloud cushions. They feel buttery and creamy by shadow standards. They glide on and stay put. Heaven in a pan!
They retail for $14.50 and are currently at your local MAC counter.
The shades are as follows:
Grand Entrance: A frosty peach based beige
Dreammaker: A frosty yellow gold
Smoke & Diamonds: A dirty taupe that is essential in a smoky eye collection.
Glamour Check: A frosty reddish brown
Strike A Pose: A dirty deep blue green
Ego: A light yellow pink
Fashion Groupie: A more blue based plum
Unbasic White: Bright off white
One-Off: a kelly green with silver pearl
Rated "R": A bitter yellow green with flashes of yellow
Style Snob: A slightly woodsy brown with a pink cast that flashes gold pearl. This is a fabulous brown shade.
Fashion: A light mouse gray with flashes of green (wet and dry swatch)

I think I'm the only person who hated Smoke and Diamonds =/ but I love Style Snob! On me it's a pinky taupe color. I wish MAC would have re-released Go though - I thought it was the best Starflash shadow!
how do you do a web application? I've heard that dipping the brush in contact solution can work, any suggestions? thanks
I like those beautiful shades of MAC eye shadows. Thanks for posting.
I am totally loving Style Snob. I must pick this up. I really like the texture of the starflash shadows. I have never though of using them wet. I'm gonna have to give this a try!
Joey-I also hate Smoke & Diamonds, it looks to hard on me. But Style Snob is soft taupey gorgeousness.
DF: I use just straight water or a mixing medium.
