Pushing My Love Over the Borderline

The beauty inspiration for Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring 2010 show was “Punk rock”. All I saw was Bananarama and early Madonna.

Lips were prepped with Aquafor before applying color to the lips. Next, the Perfect Rouge Lipstick in Fuschia (RS320) from the Spring 2009 Line was applied, followed by a high pigment bright pink powder. The lips were completed with a dusting of the Translucent Loose Powder from the Fall 2009 Collection.

Eyes were left completely natural. Dick then used the Natural Eyebrow Pencil from the Fall 2009 Collection if needed.

Early Madonna was exactly was I thought when I saw that photo! Great asessment. I'm not sure how I feel about that lipstick with almost nothing else on the face. In fact, just that shade of fuschia with that a bright red bow? Just can't get on board with that. Back to the 80's with you, Madonna-wannabe. :)

I totally see Madonna in the photo, too. BUT... I LOVE IT!! The 80's were hot, imo and the looks were all about COLOR & FUN! =) I say bring back the big hair and the jelly bracelets!!
