All I want for Christmas is....A Car in the Shade of MAC's Lavender Whip
This a little snippet from the latest Lucky issue. LA interior designer Laurie March custom designed pillows to match an OPI nail polish.
This made me think of what beauty product I would find design inspiration in. My first impulse was a coat or snuggie in the shade of Lancome's Erika F. I love that eye shadow so much.
But I would love to own a VW bug in the shade of MAC's Lavender Whip.
With fancy rims that glittered like dazzleglasses.
What eyeshadow, lippie or nail polish shade would you like to see recreated into pillows, paint or outerwear? Let us know in the comments!

Not Lavender Whip but I owned a VW Bug in the cosmic green shade which in certain lights reminded me of MAC's Golden Olive pigment. I wished that I had a matching nail varnish to wear on my tips as I drove it. I loved that car but would you believe that my own MOTHER crashed and killed it last year. Sigh.
A BMW in the shade of China Glaze's Emerald Sparkle would be my next fantasy car purchase.
I'd wear/use pretty much anything in China Glaze Dorothy Who? Sparkly electric blue!
WOW! ME TOO! I luv lavender, thanks for posting this shade because I haven't seen it! I luv MAC products and this is solely FABULOUSLY CHIC!!!:))
xoxox,

I wouldn't mind a Volvo C70 convertible in China Glaze's Emerald Sparkle.
And here's the link to the press release about Dell partnering with OPI on the laptop shells. I would love an I'm Not Really a Waitress laptop under my tree this Christmas. http://content.dell.com/us/en/corp/d/press-releases/2009-10-07-03-dell-partners-with-opi.aspx
A bone china set in pink like NARS Roman Holiday, a bit of white and gold would be divine...
I'd have a pretty little Alfa Romeo Giulietta in Essie Huckle Buckle or OPI Megawatt!? or Princessa Martian Jade (a gorgeous chrome)
Or a big old pick up and horse trailer in Color Club's Electronica.
I saw a beautiful Highlander Hybrid yesterday and thought of you. It looked like MAC Lavender Whip with a dazzlegass over it. I checked the Toyota Web site and its called Amythest Mist.
