Don't Call It A Comeback: MAC Feline Kohl Power Eye Pencil
Do not lollygag on picking up a MAC Feline Kohl Power Eye Pencil. It returns in the Love Lace collection that is currently at MAC counters.
Now correct me if I am wrong (I am looking at you hardcore MAC addicts), but this pencil has sold out at least twice before.
So dear readers...you know the drill.
Grab and hoard!
I consider this third coming of Feline...a gift from baby Jesus. It retails for $14.50.
Disclosure: I bought two boxes of Feline because I am smitten and scared. The Feline nub of a pencil was a press sample. I was this close...to taking a switch blade to sharpen it. I could not throw it away.

Yay! I've been waiting and waiting! I almost never makeup but this is one of the few items I can't live without (occasionally, at least).
Annie, I love you for the LL Cool J reference =)
I just ordered it...with code lash129 you get free shipping and a mascara sample.
'Kay wait.... this is probably really stupid or obvious or both but... they sent you a nub for a press sample? Mac couldn't cough up a new one??
The blackest black eyeliner I've ever found - but I sure wish it wore better! I still have 2 backups in my stash, though. ;)
I hear these smudge and run like crazy. True?
Couture Cookie(Great name BTW!): I missed it the last time. I agree about Feline! I was holding onto that small nub of a pencil because I could not let it go. I was thinking of getting a razor...to try to sharpen one last time.
JBunny: I love when people get my musical references. It warms my heart. Have a fabulous New Years!!
Tussah: It does not hold up in my waterline...but it is the best looking black and is soft.
Sarah: Nooooooo! I used it up until it was a nub. This is the first pencil that I have used up...and refuse to part with it. It should have been thrown in my Back to MAC bag a long time ago. I really made that little bit work.
Tara: Me too! I wish it lasted in my waterline longer. Still....I use it.
Anon: Yes and no. It lasts well unless used in the waterline. I still use in the waterline due to the color and softness. I just touch up like crazy.
Feline just looks amazing. It is the blackest black...IMHO.
Annie-
Sigh, I love this pencil. I was going to ask if you (or anyone) have tips for helping it last longer -- I start with it above my eye, and end up with it under! Has anyone tried layering this over another longer-wearing liner to see if that helps?
But it does make a great smoky eye -- I am hopeless with smoky eyes most of the time, but this liner smudges so beautifully that I can actually create a decent look.
Annie, I got Feline today because of your article, and because the Soho MAC SA was one of the few sales people with a ready smile today (guess the SAs at other stores partied too hard last night to be in a nice mood!). Have yet to apply to eyes but tested on my hand and it reminds me of the deep, dark black color pencils I used to use in art class. Thanks for the rec!
Yes, I do love my Feline pencil but I am really loving the new sense of style pencil from the Love Lace collection. It'll be a very wearable smokey eye look for work. I don't know if you have tried it.
I LOVE Feline and told my readers to do the same. Grab it while you can! I had a fresh one and grabbed another just in case. They need to just go ahead and make it permanent already! sheesh. lol
Yeah I probably don't use mine as much because of the smearing factor on me. Plus, I want to make mine last as long as I can =)
