The NY Premiere of "NINE": Chanel
Penelope CRUZ was wearing a long asymmetrical satin red dress Chanel Haute Couture. The dress was specially chosen by Karl Lagerfeld for Penelope from the Chanel Conservatoire. This unique dress was shown during the Spring/Summer Haute Couture show of Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel in 1989.
Can you even imagine...what the Chanel Conservatoire is like? Just the thought gives me the shivers.

I get the shivers just thinking about taking a tour of Chanel's apartment/studio in Paris - I am still hating Rachel Zoe for being able to do that on her show. I mean hate in a good way, too!
loved kate's dress. obsessed. i thought everyone looked really great actually. even peeps like fergie who usually struggle.
I really like the shoulders on the dress - not sure about the train though.... I think I have see Kate in much better dresses... I think there is a tear in my eye... For the first time I may not like a chanel dress!!

The train was not needed. Kinda ruined the dress for me...But Penelope was flawless, como siempre!
