Veet In Shower Hair Removal Cream

I have been testing different hair removal creams. This is the one that has been the most successful.

I applied the cream on dry skin before showering. You have to make sure the area is completely covered with the cream. I am not saying to use the whole bottle but do not be conservative about how much product you use. You might want think of it as applying frosting on a cake. Be generous and apply a thick layer.

You wait one minute before entering the shower. Most of the cream does not budge but some might wash away. No need to panic or cuss. According to the Veet website, the cream contains an ingredient that is often used in some waterproof mascaras. I have no clue what this mystery ingredient is. I am guessing it is a polymer with some beeswax thrown in. This hair removal formula really does repel water. There is beading action going on. Of course, if you have a fabulous shower with direct jets of water coming at you from all sides...you might want to pass on this product.

I removed the cream with a rag(not the included sponge) after 3-5 minutes. Do not lallygag or get sidetracked.

I am not sure what dire circumstances will happen. I imagine burning and severe itching will follow though.

Hair removes like a breeze and the scent is not overpowering. I have tested the Lotus Milk and Jasmine and Shea Butter with Lily. I prefer the jasmine formulation because it smells fairly tropical. It is not perfume quality by any standards, but this smells better than most hair removals on the market.

I knew it was working when my hair suddenly turned dark on my legs. This is when it is ready for removal. My legs were silky smooth for a few days. I am Italian with a fish belly complexion so this result was better than I had hoped. I give it high marks. It retails for around $8 at your local Walgreens.
