I am totally unable to shop at Anthropologie now after their humongous fall sale. I keep on expecting everything to be on sale w/ an additional 40% off, and then die of shock everytime I see their over-inflated prices!
Hee hee. Well, it DOES say "sale," too, so technically you're in the clear here. This is just so funny, A. But seriously, what does the window say? The best I can make out it that it says is, "... the world is so peaceful and still you can almost hear SALE in the air." And you know, I really can almost hear SALE in the air.
I am completely the same. If it says sale, I'm there. Anthropologie has beautiful clothing, but it's way too expensive. I just purchased a $128 for $19.95 yesterday. Go me.
I usually love Anthropologie, but this season I wasn't able to find a single piece that I could wear. I tried and tried, but nothing worked for me. I hope for a better collection this spring.
Anj: I bought full price this last trip. I am sure I will be kicking myself soon.
D: It made cavewoman howl. In all seriousness...I did not see the other lettering. My eyes only focused on the tiny red sale signs.
Katie: I have no clue. Some positive saying about Love. I guess I have a dark heart...and a love of things on the cheap.
Go Phoebe!!! That is a great deal! I thought I did well with my Paul & Joe scents for 30% off. I did not see any cute clothes in the sale room. I think our Cleveland store gets hit early. Nothing is ever left by the time we get there.
Dinah: 2nd this!
GBK: That is a shame. You would think they would want to get in on the European market.
Non Blonde: Me too but spring looks very promising. I saw a lot of pieces that I liked.

Sale is my favorite 4 letter word.
I love Anthropologie! Too bad they won't ship outside US.
