Awake Powder
Awake's Stardom Aqua Trans Powder For The Face in Pink Sunset.
Cavewoman is the primer expert on this blog. She has tried pretty much every primer that is out there.
My expertise is powders. I am cookoo for shimmer powders. It is the first thing I look at in any makeup line.
During one of Cleveland gatherings we stopped in the B&BW(Bath and Body Works) to see their Awake collection. Cavewoman was just starting to get into their skincare. I fooled around at the powders... and fell in love.
Awake powders are finely milled. They give a luminous shimmery finish that does not cake or settle into fine lines. It is a water based powder so it feels similar to Prescriptive's Magic Powder. It feels wet and slightly unsettling on application. It is like brushing cool water on your face. The powder has excellent lasting powder. You do not need to do any touch ups for a entire work day. It compares very well against La Mer and Caron.
The colors are:
Pink Sunset-pictured
Sea Lavender -just stunning
Venus Sea -less sparkles
Moon Glint
Sand Dune
They are priced at Beauty.com for $38.50
They offer free shipping for orders over $25.00

Ohh I want to try that out.
Me too! I have Le Mer, and the Prescriptive's one and another loose like Prescriptive's I can't remember the name. Oh and several compacts, including the pink one from Estee Lauder last summer - lovely. Oh so I guess I'm addicted too. Not to mention I have Beauty.com dollars to spend! hehe!
Dinah: You need to do. Do you have a big B&BW store near you? They carry the line there.
Victoria: They have great colors. The lavender one is stunning too.
