will be visiting the perfume mecca called Luckyscent. I promised her a list of scents to check out. Here is my list of the fragrances I am currently lemming or scents that she has to try.
1. My #1 unsniffed lemming: Holy Champa
This is from luckyscent's site:
"Holy Champa is a Technicolor dreamcoat of a fragrance, blending together rich neroli (orange blossom), earthy nag champa, amber and incense with the sweet balsam of Indonesian gurjum. This fragrance of fantasy was created by Mark Buxton, the perfumer behind Comme de Garcon’s amazing creations."
*Doesnt this sound wonderful? *swoon*
2. Black Orchid by Susanne Lang-own it and love it!
Notes are: white gardenia, Egyptian jasmine, freesia, vanilla absolute, soft musk
3. Janca by Acqua di Biella: Very light feminine scent. Perfect for spring.
4. Aqaba Spring
5. All of the incense series by Comme des Garcons
6. Fifi Chachnil
7. Frapin 1270
8. Botrytis by Ginestet
9. Idole by Lubin
10. Spiritus/Land by Miller et Bertaux
11. Monyette Paris
12. Luctor et Emergo by People of the Labyrinth: My all time personal favorite. Worthy of a sniff and coveting. Ultimate comfort scent.
13. Pink Manhattan: Perfect for summer and created by a fellow muaer.
14. Amber Vanilla byRegina Harris: Smelled so wonderful on ChattyKathy.
15. For her by La Base: You have to sniff this one. I personally love it! It has an incredible drydown!
16. Black Tea and Lemon bath essence by Eskandar: I have never sniffed it...but I wanna!
This is my list! Everyone add to it so Mary will have a great list to take to the store!
I can not wait for you to go Mary! Take pictures!

Great list! I'll add a few personal favorites:
Susanne Lang Cashmere. I get so many compliments on this scent, and it just feels "right" every time I wear it.
Keiko Mecheri Peau de Peche: Best peach scent out there, in my opinion. Not overly sweet, more like peach skin and great for both winter and spring.
L'Artisan Mimosa Pour Moi: This is the Spring scent for me. It is so fresh, light and crisp and is perfect for when the weather starts to get warm again.
Les Nereides Imperial Opoponax: A great vanilla-myrhh-amber scent that becomes more and more fabulous as it dries down.
Sage Pearl EDT or oil: Calming and great for bedtime.
Yosh U4EAHH! is a fresh, juicy pear with a touch of aloe. Great for summertime.
Wow, I didn't think I would add so many. Hopefully she will find some favorites when she goes!
Oh Annie,
I have some Holy Champa, and I am not in love with it.
I am still lemming Songes, and I *almost* bought Duel by AG today.
I love Mary's blog too!!
(hi mary)
Hi C,
Those are excellent additions!
I just visited your blog. I loved your NYC trip recap. I really love so many Frederic Malle scents. If I was a rich girl...I would own them all. The Malle SA's are incredible. The SA insisted that I try the Iris Poudre. I told her no. She snuck it in my testing. When I fell hard(cause it is a beauty)...she whipped out the bottle and was kind enough not to say "I told you so". They are the best SA's in that store beside Mr Tyler.
Peej: Spill the beans...whats wrong with it. Tell me more.
I am holding out the Songes. I got mine from someone who might have had the parfum version. There is a difference from the EDT I tested...so I wait to do a side by side testing. I might have fallen for the parfum...which means trouble.
oh, she MUST sniff Yosh Untitled #1! and Aroma M Geisha Violet! and Isabey Gardenia~! lovely, lovely stuffages to sniff... :D
I cannot agree enough on People of the Labyrinths. The trippy name just makes the amazing scent that much better.
I've printed the list - I'm ready for the trip. Are the SA's going to be ready for me?
I've decided to leave the store with 10 samples from the list so that I can wear a different scent every day for ten days. That way I can really get to know the scents and live with them, then I'll go back a buy full sizes of my new favs. I just know I'm going to be overwhelmed in the store!
Wish me luck, I'll let you know when I go!
Mary: Your list made it in the NYTimes. They photographed it! Your future luckyscent trip is going to be extra special now!!!!!
Aqaba Spring is absolutely wonderful! I also love the body lotion. I didn't realize that it was available outside of Bendel's!
Hi Anon: Bendels is where I first tried Aqaba Spring too!
Luckyscent got it a little while ago. I think he also has the new ones too. I have sniffed those yet.
I went yesterday!!!I posted some photos - more info to come
