Patty and Patti have made an amazing discovery! We have found out, through testing, that the Max Factor Lash Perfection in the color Deep Blue does not flake like the black shade does! Now honestly this does not make sense, and we don't know how it happens, but I conducted a side-by-side testing when Patty mentioned that she wears the Deep Blue shade and it did not flake on her. It's true! Patty sent me the Deep Blue to try, and I am so happy with it! It darkens the lashes almost as well as the black, the blue is hardly detectable, but it coats the lashes evenly and doesn't clump at all, just like the black version. But after an entire day of wearing the Deep Blue on one eye and the black on the other, the difference was clearly evident.
So, I have to rate Max Factor Lash Perfection in Deep Blue as a perfect 10! Thanks to PattyG for pointing this out to me and for providing me with the Deep Blue!

Well, I'm intrigued. I'm going to try it! This is my only problem with your fantastic product review sprees. I want to buy way too many things! :)
On a fragrance note, are you guys familiar with Perfume Bay? I'm excited about the idea of buying sample sizes but am always nervous to try out a new web store I haven't heard of.
Thanks!
Damn it, I'm going to have to try this stuff.
jennifer, I have ordered from perfumebay many times and have been pleased every time. I have heard other people say they got 'old' fragrances or scents that have 'turned' but I have had nothing but good experiences.
As for the mascara, to you and to Tania, watch your weekend drugstore newspaper inserts for deals! No need to pay full retail, even on a drugstore product.
Thanks, Patti!
I am slowly realizing that you can buy samples from lots of sites. :) Now, if I could just find one of Cartier's new Delices.
I caved. I bought the Lash Perfection, but not in blue (it would just clash with my warm highlights in my hair, I fear) but in black-brown. Tested the brush: great coverage and separation! We'll see how it goes.
Tania, the formula itself is not the good part, it's the brush. I have heard of people using the Max Factor Lash Perfection brush with other mascaras! So if you find a good lengthening-volumizing mascara but it clumps, try the MF brush and let us know!
