Find some money make some time
Get busy on your island
And slowly lose our minds in New York

Cavewoman loves NYC.
Here are some New York City themed compacts and a Lady Liberty solid perfume from Estee Lauder. Notice that she is holding a liptsick.
The team at Blogdorf will be visiting the big apple in the fall. We plan to do our normal routine and hopefully get to meet some new faces. If any fellow bloggers want to shop with us drop me an email.
Tell me your favorite NYC memory
or if you live in NYC...tell me about the perfect NYC day.
Mine: There are many favorites moments in NYC.
-I loved the last lunch I had at TAK. I met the wonderful Beauty Addict and broke bread with some of my favorite people on the planet.
-Meeting Parisjasmal for the first time at the Carnegie Diner.
-But my all time favorite NYC day is when I shopped downtown with cavewoman, tbone and chattykathy. We were at pearl market and I was juggling a thousand bags of wasabi peas. Tbone did a kung fu fan trick that delighted me to no end. It sounds silly but that is my favorite memory.

It would be almost impossible to choose just one splendid NYC memory, because every trip to NY has magical moments. But maybe the best was when my husband and I went to Studio 54 a few years ago to see his sister dancing in the revival of Cabaret. She was one of The KitKat Girls.
The best table ever, Annie, I agree, was our lunch at Tak in December. It was perfect.
The candle in the background of this photo is one of the Bond No. 9 candles, a gift from a dear friend.
I love Lady Liberty. I think I should have added my Lady Caron parfum bottle to this photo!
Mel! I would never have guessed you to be a Wenner groupie! Cute story!
The heart-shaped compact was an eBay find. I wish I knew how old it is.
Mel: I have always loved that story!!!
I remember you saw Darryl Hannah and you were trying to get me to perform fan tricks in front of her. You, my stage mother. But what about our day in the Bondmobile/clown car?
Aw, you guys will totally have to post when you're going to be in the city. Maybe I could drive up for a day.
I'm always totally crushed when I don't see any celebrities in NYC.
My favorite moments include seeing my first Broadway play (Les Mis) in high school, going to my first Papierdoll photo shoot, and annual trips up to the costume institute exhibit for my birthday.

tbone: loved that day in the Bond mobile!!! Damn Juan!
Mel: I was like Terri Shields.
Andrea: We would love to meet you! That would be so fun.
I have seen some famous people: Richard Harris(my personal fav sighting), Mike Myers, Darryl Hannah,Jessica Lange(pushed me and several others---who were not paying attention to her but sneaking peeps at Mr Harris--- into a car...so I hate her), Alec Baldwin(who was horrified by Langes behavior), Kevin Costner(also horrified),and Letterman crew members. I have missed Paris Hilton and Connie Chung because I was too busy shopping. Patti spotted them with her eagle eye.
Viva: My email is in my profile. We would love for you to join us!BTW: My dream was to go to FIT. I am green with envy. They have a great collection of fortunys. GREAT.
Oh you are so sweet Annie...I am just now reading this. Thanks for including me as one of your fave NYC memories.
One of my fave memories was when I FIRST met you too--and all the other fragrance girls at our own little fragrance day before someone took our special day and turned it into the big corporate calamity it is now. Pox Pox Pox.
Another one of my fave memories is going to see The Graduate on stage and eating at The Four Seasons for my birthday one year.
Also meeting Jeffrey of Jeffrey and he touched my waist. I was with Felicia.
Also hanging out with my family in NYC.
And The Hamptons.
Good times!
Peej, yes, that was a wonderful and happy day. Too bad those days are gone. I still can't believe people will pay to get together and shop now.
PattyG, you are so lucky to have been able to go to NY back in the great days. Somewhere in my pack rat house, I have a matchbook cover from that Cheetah club!
I have been looking for one of the heart shaped New York City compact like the one in your photo. Any ideas (other than eBay) where I might look?
Thank you!
Pamela
