Armani Code Bath Products
Armani Code smells so amazing on my one co-worker that I pretty much demand that she wears it every day. She is a fragrance junkie so that is an impossible request. However, she is smitten with the scent and considers it her holy grail.
So last week I got the body lotion and the shower gel. I promptly brought it in to work to have her test it and give me feedback.
Also...there might have been some sassing involved.
She went insane over the lotion. There is nothing like a richly scented body cream to accompany your favorite fragrance. The Armani delivers in capturing the magic of the fragrance along with being exceptional with these new bath products.
Most people either love or hate Angel by Thierry Mugler. But even the haters have to agree that Angel by-products such as the shampoo and body creams are well made and exceptional. I have always wondered why other well known fragrance companies can not do the same quality in their bath products. Armani has managed to match the quality of the Angel line.
The shower gel lathers well and is delicately perfumed. I have tried so many fragrance based shower gels and have always been disappointed in their lather. I hate wasting product trying to get some workable suds.
The body lotion absorbs quickly. This is important when you are getting dress in a hurry. There is nothing more annoying than getting lotion marks on clothes or hosiery.
The Body cream will be available in a lovely jar for $52.50
The shower gel will be $35.00
The Body lotion will be $39.50
Two thumbs up from Ohio.

it's definitely too bad that more fragrances don't have the lotion pairing done well. POTL is one of the best, and Guerlain's L'Heure Bleue cream is pretty good too. i'm hoping Le Labo will do something too...
The ANGEL I buy in London is very different from the American Angel. I find the American Angel quite dreadful, but the European version is divine. Perhaps it is the "potato alchohol" that is used in the European version versus the other alcohol used in the American?
Risa: I would sell my soul for the Pottle cream. I will have to try the L'Heure!!!
Anon: I have heard that!
I would love to test the versions side by side.
Annie & Anon, I regret to say I must express some skepticism here. Angel was all over Paris the last couple of times I was there and it was just as horrid as in New York. No difference at all to this nose.
)))F(((
I actually own Angel but have not reached for it since I joined MUA. The MUA hate has made me not reach for it.
I have heard that there is a different version in Europe. But I have no idea where I heard it from. I am guessing that I spotted it on MUA years ago.
I don't reach for my Angel perfume often either...but..
The Angel shampoo is absolutely fabulous! It doesn't just smell great, it give you good hair too!
Hypnotic Poison by Dior is also an incredible body lotion. so subtle, yet delectably smelling and delicious. we can only get the very tiny versions in South Africa though, it irks me no end. we also only get the 50ml bottles. very irritating.
