L'Artisan in NYC
The day I fought falling in love with Fleur d'Oranger!
From L'Artisan:
A delicate, invigorating fragrance that whisks you away to the fragrant orange groves of Nabeul.
From Me:
A slice of heaven
From L'Artisan:
Limited edition.
From Me:
I want it more.
From L'Artisan: Features the 2004 harvest of orange blossom from Nabeul in Tunisia.
From Me: You can not get me with fancy harvests in far away lands...or can you?
From L'Artisan: Delicately blends orange bigarade, petitgrain, neroli, honey, and orange blossom.
From Me: Damn you L'Artisan!
It is lovely and almost worth the $250 price tag.
I wish I had never sniffed it!

That girl with the blue bag looks familiar...LOL
I am with you on this one, Annie!
So pretty. I just keep sniffing my sample and wishing...
Nice photos of the Thompson Street boutique! It's a gem of a shop, and the staff are so helpful and gracious.
I'm not a wearer of orange blossom, but if I were, L'Artisan's orange blossom is the one I would choose.
This is the most beautiful place I've ever seen in my life.
Lol!
Seriously though...I would love to visit it the next time I'm in NYC.
Darling, I owe you & P. both an email! I think I mentioned that I fell hard for this one too. And I don't even like orange blossom, at least when I am not pregnant. Honestly, if I hadn't been afraid I would start hating it after giving birth I would have bought it right then. As it is, I am really looking forward to the Narcisse that is coming in November. I have never been a big L'Artisan gal but these "vintages" seem to be doing very well.
That one is beautiful. Damn it.
Who's that midget in the big dress straining over the counter? Somebody get that girl a stepstool
There's the midget in the dress, the girl with the blue bag, and the tourist leaning down to see the coffrets on the bottom shelf. Memo to self, white tunic makes bum look huge. Or maybe bum really IS huge.
Sigh.
The store is so tiny! I really liked La Haie Fleurie, but I am always attracted to a full floral blend. Thank goodness I did not like the orange blossom.
The Addict: She is pretty fabulous with an excellent taste in handbags and pucci shoes.
Koneko: It is lovely and worth the hype.
Stanzi: The gal was so helpful and sweet. It was a tiny gem of a shop. I loved that there was a tester on the stoop.
Run around Paris: Thats nothing! You should see Bergdorfs, Caron or the top floor of TAK.
When you visit Paris you should visit the Serge Lutens store. I hear that is an experience.
Campase: I agree! They are launching some lovely scents. I have never been a huge fan either...but they are slowly winning me over.
tbone: LOL! You are hummel size!
Cute as a pixie with the heart of Andre the Giant!
P: Shush!
Your tush is fine.
