Its all about red today.I am wearing my new MAC red in Rockcoco and the lip gloss in Pure Vanity. Both are a pure red color. I am a little nervous because this is a bold lip look. It screams look at my lips.

Annie, you are courageous. That red lip combination is so very Dita! I have them too, and I have not touched them since I bought them. I may not keep them, and I continue the search for The Red. However, I have discovered one that comes close, it is the MAC Cream Colour Base in Premeditated, it comes in a pot like a cream blush. I tested it as a lip color, using a brush, and it's a great red on me.
I'm usually red-shy, but today I'm trying to join in the fun by wearing Goldie lip gloss in Lesley. It looks bright red in the tube, but it applies as a sheer cherry shine.

I wish Pure Vanity looked red on me. :-( I tried it on with high hopes that it would be a true red but it was more fushcia on me! Sigh....back to the drawing board. Maybe I'll try that Kevyn Aucoin lippie.
Damn it, my whole face is naked today. All I have on is moisturizer. I moved last night and now I can't find anything. Add hay fever to put the fear of mascara in me, and I end up today, naked faced. I'm so ashamed.
You, however, must rock the red lip more often. I need to see it! I'm curious about this red gloss. I'm still looking for the perfect red gloss. I've found red lipsticks I love but not a gloss.

Face Stockholm Cranberry Veil w/Revlon Cherries in the Glow gloss. Red's tough because I'm so pale but it's a look I love on others.

I believe tht Divine Diva is Joan Sutherland, but I could be wrong.
Since I won't wear red lipstick, I'll not be a diva, immediately or otherwise. But I'm sure all of you who are sporting red lips look absolutely fabulous.

I decided to go with an opera diva for the post. I thought she would be perfect!
Nars Lip Laquer in Bewtiched. Not exactly a true red but I like that the transarency is between a lip gloss and a lip stick.
Today's lip look:
Borghese Auburn Butterfly lip liner
Chanel Papparazzi lipstick
Revlon SuperLustrous gloss in Tangerine Twist.
No red for me today.
Favorite reds: MAC Underworld (of course), MAC "O", Fresh Rouge Catalan, Nars Mongolian Red, Nars Shanghai Express, Maybelline (Moisture Extreme) Red Dawn.
Today: Still no makeup, but I plan to wear the L'Oreal HIP gloss in Gallant today.
