Lancome Behnaz Lipstick: What Could Have Been
Bring back the Behnaz:
Dear Lancome,
You might not be aware that your hard to find, limited edition Behnaz lipstick went for over a $100 on Ebay. It appears to be worth every penny based on these pictures from the Behnaz show. I will never know the joy of this lipstick. It was gone before I could get my hands on it. I have been trying to get over this.
I have plenty of lovely red lipsticks.
But this one is haunting me.
Just look at it.
It is magnificent.
Why do you discontinue the stuff I love? Do you want to break my heart? Do you enjoy watching me pine away for things I can not have?
I know that you are not cruel.
You brought back my holy grail fragrance 2000 et une Rose.
So...I have decided to beg.
Bring back the Behnaz.
Make my perfect red lippie dream come true.

How cruel of them to discontinue the perfect shade of red. Do you know what it is? A conspiracy to keep us hungry, so that we lap up the fashion like hungry dogs.
And I wish Estee Lauder would bring back my PERFECT red, ancient brick. Wish I had kept an old sample to have someone reproduce it but alas...

Hey everyone, does anyone know if they only sold this lipstick in specialty department stores? I'm hoping that one may be tucked away in a random store like Belk or Dillards...
Anon: I do not think it ever hit a department store. From what I know there were only 500 produced and they were snatched up by very fast & smart people.
They were available at free standing Lancome stores.
It appears to be gone forever unless Lancome hears the buzz and requests. They are a company who appreciates their archives. They have relaunched some beautiful fragrances such as 2000 et une Rose(my beloved scent)and Climat. They might reconsider and entertain a re-launch. I might not be in the biz...but this lippie is creating a huge buzz in the media and the blogs. It could be a massive hit.
Everyone: I hope someone hears you today.

Oh the clinque meadow flower honey! I forgot about that. Yes bring that back. And please I must have more of the the Estee Lauder Azuree body oil! Where can I get more?
I think they discontinued Behnaz because so many people would buy it and not TRY and TRY to get another red, continually buying and mak9ng them money. I too, never got to use it but I would certainly like to add my bring it back comment.
Is there any possibility that anyone else would boycott Lancome products until they brought people's favorite back, Behnaz. Why would they not want to listen to their buyers. I'm ready. Any others that want to take control of the merchandise that is offered?
Dior please bring back Sun Red addict lipstick.
