Lancome's Behnaz Lipstick
Dear Lancome,
I adore you again!
You made my day, week, month and year!
Lancome heard my cries for Behnaz and sent a tube overnight. This was beyond generous and amazing.
They have had a special place in my heart since I first sniffed 2000 et une Rose. Now I want to send flowers to every person who works there.
I love them.
There is some bad news. Behnaz is out of production. There were only 250 made(not the 500 reported) and it appears that they are gone. The silver lining is that there are plans to do more designer lipsticks in the future.
Is the Behnaz worth the hype?
Yes.
I almost passed out when I opened it.
My next project will be red lipsticks and comparing them all to this tube of Behnaz. Cavewoman and I will drag this tube across Ohio and NYC to find any dupes.
That is my promise to you.
Special thanks and huge hugs to Kristen and Kerry!!!!

I had the worst time photographing the tube. I am taking it to work again and see if I can get a better shot.

OMG you lucky lucky LUCKY girl! The color truly is beautiful...
Even with that blurry pic I can see that is possibly the perfect red we have all been waiting for. Stupid LE products!
That is so amazing, A! You must be living right. :):)
Enjoy this lovely gift.
Hugs,

CONGRATS, CONGRATS, CONGRATS!!!!! I am so thrilled for you! Annie got her wish come true and lives happily ever after, as predicted! ;-)
That is beyond awesome!
Kudos to Lancome for coming through.
Congratulations Annie!!
So glad for you!
Lancome just did some great PR for themselves.
oh man, I love it when goodness is rewarded. ♥ xoxo
This may sound silly, but... well, here goes. I've seen this "Behnaz" colour featured in a lot of magazines lately. On a drugstore cheapie-product run, I was checking out the new L'Oreal LE Scarlett Johannsen stuff... it features something like three shades of red lipstick? And I found myself thinking, Hmmm, doesn't L'Oreal own Lancome? Hmmm, a high-end LE cult product followed by a low-end LE knockoff perhaps? In a way, I can see it making good business sense for the L'Oreal group... Hmmm indeed. I implore you, as you have means for comparison, check out these drugstore lippies to see how they measure up!
Becca and Everyone:
I will be dragging this lippie everywhere to do comparisons. There will also be as red lippie week.
Wow! I'm so happy that Lancome sent you a tube! Bring on Red Lippie week- I need a duplicate color!
