Getting Nailed Challenge for November 13th 2006:

I am wearing Chanel's Black Satin courtesy from the fabulous Dana! She is generous and so damn wonderful.

It is a deep olive black color with high shine. I do not get the blue undertone or any shimmer. There is shimmer in the bottle. I am wearing it over Essie's Ridge Filler. I have two chips so far because I have been pounding the keyboards at work and home. It is holding up very well considering how hard my hands are working.
What is your nail polish this week?

i'm wearing Milani Black Cherry. surprisingly after 4 days it hasn't chipped at all. it's a really cheap brand so i am definitely going to get more in different colors!

my chanel black satin was starting to look like la lohan's intentionally chipped black claws so I switched to chanel ballet slippers.

Since I can't get my hands on Chanel's Black Satin OR Opi's Black Onyx, I've been searching for alternatives so today, I found Milani's "Black Magic" at CVS! It's definitely black, black black lacquer with a bright, glossy shine. FYI, Revlon's Color Stay Sealing Shine( Fini Scellant 2) really really protects...I'm talking over a week here with no chipping! Opi's Black Tie Optional was really nice (sorta eggplanty), but they don't make it anymore. I LOVE the rich, dark colors in the fall, thanks to Christy Turlington and my girlfriend Annabel from New Zealand!

I am wearing... a mixture. I put a million dollar red coat on first and then swiped over it with a deep black/purple... it is in between the color of Christian Louboutin shoes bottoms and Merlot. Its all about mixing custom colors with your fav shoe!

Now that Black Satin is sold out everywhere I found out Chanel is releasing Black Pearl in March 2007 - I'm already on the waiting list so I don't miss out again!
