I have been spending way too much time at style.com this weekend. I have been slowly savoring the photographs from the shows and making imaginary "must buy" lists.
It looks like the top beauty trend for fall 2007 is gray eye shadow.
It was everywhere from Vera Wang to Alice Roi. It was applied all over the lid, beneath the eyes and over the brow area. At Toni Maticevski it was smeared along the temples. It was messy, slightly jarring and harsh...like the clothes.
My favorite examples of the trend are the looks from Doo Ri and Vera Wang. I am smitten with Vera Wang's eye look. The shadow is such a lovely dove gray. It reminds me of MAC's Swan Lake shadow from the Danse collection.

Wow, looks like I won't have to make any effort to follow fashion this year: I already have great big grey shadows around my eyes. LOL!
I don't like grey eyeshadow with brown eyes: it makes the eyes look murky, imo.
My eyes were super murky today! LOL
