Blogdorf Roadshow
Annieytown: I thought I would start with the most mysterious and prized piece from my collection.
This is an Eisenberg fur clip.
It is marked Eisenberg Original. This mark was first used in the mid 1930s. The "Eisenberg" signature is in a "dot matrix semi-print script" and the "Original" mark is in a standard Roman type print.
There is no known romantic story behind it.
I have never been able to find any information online or through local jewelers.
I am hoping to find out more today from my readers.
Let me know what your thoughts are in the comments.

A prize indeed, Annie! I've never seen a fur clip! It is beautiful!
Or it could be a dress clip too. It is so heavy that I just assume it was used for furs.
Gorgeous piece. I have never seen fur clip either, so can't be much help unfortunately.
I have a chatelaine clip set made of fur but thats different.
Thanks for sharing.
it reminds me of pictures of my grandmother in the sixties, she was so chic and stylish and always wore beautiful clips and diamond brooches. But alas i cannot help you on this one.
it is a charming lovely piece though, I'm green with envy.
