Estee Lauder's The Heritage Collection
"The Estee Lauder Heritage Collection was inspired by the wonderful style of my grandmother, Estee, and her gracious warmth, impeccable taste and attention to detail. This collection celebrates her favorite color which is so much a part of the Lauder legacy today. It is luxuriously packaged in a re-interpretation of one of her favorite patterns. The Heritage Collection includes Estee Lauder pieces plus modern updates of some of my personal favorites. (Aerin Lauder)
It is no secret that I am a huge fan of Estee Lauder. She was a great pioneer in the cosmetic field. Her products are legendary and were way ahead of their time.
It is great to see that her work is continued and celebrated today.
I love this vintage inspired collection. The Lucidity Pressed Powder navy compact alone is worth swooning over. I truly do not understand why other cosmetic companies are not attempting to dress up their compacts. These little pieces of luxury make touching up makeup more glamorous than the standard plain plastic cover.
The Heritage makeup collection features wearable lipsticks, pressed powders, and a face glow. The lipsticks are in the famous Lauder gold fluted tubes and carry the vintage names of Bermuda Bronze(Nude shade) and Spanish Melon(a lovely coral color). There is a great shade called Venetian Plum. It is a cool toned sheer nude that leans toward a pink undertone. (photo of lippie with flash on)

Minaudiere: A stunning collector's item that doubles as a makeup case and chic evening bag. It has a vintage feel with its matte gold case with a white cabochon. I have been fairly obsessed with vintage clutches. The Estee Lauder clutch comes with an All-Day lipstick in Ready to Go Red and The Estee Compact Lucidity Translucent Pressed Powder in Transparent. It retails for $550.
It is pricey but quite glam.
The Lipstick and Pressed Powder Set: This has the Navy compact with transparent pressed powder with your choice of vintage lipsticks. The lippies are All Day Lipsticks in Bermuda Bronze, Spanish Melon and Venetian Plum. They retail for $85.
The All Day Lipstick Set: This is a set of 5 lipsticks. Three are being relaunched for this collection(Polished Plum, Civilized Rose, and Sandbar Beige) and two are their most current popular shades(Maplesugar and Rosa Rosa).
This set is $87.50.
The Heritage Collection also features some great White Linen products. I will dish about them later today. They deserve their own post.
This collection can be located at Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Bergdorf Goodman.

These are so beautiful! Much of my compact collection is Lauder. I love Aerin's tribute to her Grandma.
My own Grandma loved Cinnabar, especially the body powder.
I am loving all these new compacts. Lauder is so on a roll.
I will bring this compact on Saturday!
I agree, Lauder keeps rolling 'em out. I want to collect every compact they've ever made, especially the perfume ones. Did you see the globe pendant? It's not something I'd wear around my neck, but I'd love to hang it from my vanity mirror!
Am currently working for Estee Lauder. Great that you love our products. Do try our Pure White Linen Makeup Collection with the peach and gold embossed shell tablet Shimmering Shell Powder. :) Out for Spring 08.
