June Lucky's Beauty Recap
Cover: Katharine McPhee is wearing Dior Pro Blush in Catwalk Pink. I tried this product recently and was delighted by the gorgeous results. This line of products can be used on the lips and cheeks.

Valerie Beverly Hills Primadonna Roses Blush for $55. I thought it had to be from Chanetcaille since it was so lovely looking.
Chanel Translucent Powder in Peche Tendre for $50.
"This warm petal pink is instantly skin perfecting"
Chantecaille Coral Compact for $420. I think I might be the only person who thinks this is ugly. Jay Strongwater is the Thomas Kinkade of knick knacks.

Guerlain's Aqua Allegoria in Manadrine Basilic is just plain awful. The basil note is foul. They also threw in Chamomile to make the whole thing my pick for worst scent release of the year.

Yves Saint Laurent Palette Mauresque for the eyes $57.
Smashbox O-Glow for $26. The gojo berries ingredient gives a natural flush to the cheek.

I need Boots Botanical Complexion Refining Concealer stick($10) and the brightening Rimmel Recover Anti-Fatique Concealer($6). Boots is available at Target.

La Mer's The Radiant Infusion for $90.
Estee Lauder's Advanced Night Repair for $73.

Sundari Neel and Tamanu Corrective Moisturizer $46
Ren Clean Skincare Tamanu High Glide Shaving gel for $29
Seboni Luxury Hand Butter in Heligan Haze for $44: I have tried the shower gel in this line and it is fabulous. The scent is described in Lucky as "a subtle foggy seaside garden herbiness." This is 100% accurate.

My new necklace lemming.
It is $298.

Eyeshadow from Therapy Systems. This made me remember that I am lemming those pair of Tory Burch flats on Shopbop.
6 Inspired Comments:
I hate the Chantecaille compact too! So disgusting!
It's actually the SUNDARI Neem & Tamanu Corrective Moisturizer and it's $48. Available at www.sundari.com or www.skinstore.com. SUNDARI products are amazing!
I really hope I saw this before I bought the new issue. Great recap BTW.

The Chanel Poudre Douce in Peche Tendre is wonderful -- first pressed powder I've loved in I can't even remember how long...lovely texture.
I agree with your views on the Mandarine Basilic. Awful, truly awful.
Anon: I feel bad for hating it since it is for a good cause...but it is "blech" worthy.
Anon2: I have never tried any of their products. I want too though!
Anne: a beauty network?
Tara: That is my #1 lemming.
Merlot: I thought it was unpleasant. That basil note was such a mistake. LOL
The lilac fragrance was quite lovely. Very pretty and light.
