Lancome's New Face
Kate Winslet was formally announced as a new member to the Lancome family. She will represent the fragrance Tresor. The print campaign and commercials were shot in the heart of Paris on the Pont des Arts by Peter Lindbergh and can be seen starting September 2007.
I love how Lancome consistently chooses stunning women who happen to be interesting and smart. They also appreciate their own history by slowing relaunching their vintage fragrances. Now if we can only charm them into releasing Erika F eye shadow in the USA....

Love Kate. Love Lancome for choosing Kate. Maybe she will do cosmetics for someone too, someday. That would be lovely. I hadn't heard about she and Leo reuniting on screen -- I don't know why he gets all the hunky write-up when she is just as gorgeous. Harumph.
I am SO very happy Lancome chose Kate. She is one of my favorite actresses. She always remains true to her self and her craft. Classy lady for a classy fragrance.

I don't think Lancome sets out to hire interesting and smart spokesmodels. I mean, they've got Lizzie Jagger and Isabella Rosselini's daughter.
I wish lancome will release mille et une rose worldwide.
Kate Winslet is one of my favorite actresses. She is beautiful, She is an superb actress, and I love her for having a real body.
K Blue: From what I understand...Erika F is a more spectacular MAC Sumptious Olive/GreenSmoke. If you belong to MUA...do a picture search. You will fall in love with it.
I love Mille. It is one of my all time favorite fragrances. Where are you located? Can you get it at the Lancome boutique?
annieytown, I'm in Australia. Mille's available in approx five countries worldwide. We have no Lancome boutique either.
Erika F looks fantastically flattering. I hope it's not LE because I want to buy it when I go to the UK in September. I can CP it for you if you're still clammering to have it in three months time.
