Tea and smoke is very accurate. I like spicy things and did like the scent but liked Santal Blanc much more and went home with a bottle. My local Barneys has it.
I tried this today at Aedes (just for you!) and at first I thought meh. Then I wore for half hour and my DH sniffed and rather liked. The musk came forward (I don't typically like it and prefer the ginger) and now three hours later it is a lovely skin scent.
Got a sample from the Perfume Shoppe in Vancouver and passed it along to a guy friend, as it smells too much like a man's cologne -- especially after the ginger quickly disappears.
