Concealer Chronicles:
Benefit's Lemon Aid
“If life deals you lemons, make lemonade; if it deals you tomatoes, make Bloody Marys”
It is not a concealer but it is a soft yellow correcting cream that hides discoloration.
I apply it on the inner corner eye area and on the lid.
It helps mask my eye issues and works well as a primer product.
Lemon-Aid holds onto eye shadows like super glue.
The texture is slightly dry and far from moisturizing.
That is my only beef with the product.
It retails for $18 and is available at Sephora.

I have the little kit w/ both Lemon Aid and Bo-ing, and I use them both. Bo-ing I will definitely be repurchasing, but I'm not so sure about the Lemon Aid as I don't like the texture; it takes forever to soften up enough to apply. It does help to offset redness, but Bo-ing does a good job by itself.
so funny that you should post this. i just applied the lemon aid moments ago and i really don't like the texture at all. i feel as though i am tugging at my eyes and causing more damage than good. this is my third time using it and it also cakes up during the day so i end up with bright yellow rings.
i don't think i'll buy it again -- any recommendations on a similar product that's not so dry?
Maybe this would work for me, since I am really oily and anything that's very moist gives me a stye.
I liked how Lemon Aid evened out my lids and I've used it to minimize undereye discolouration, but it creases at the end of the day for me and causes my eye makeup to slide off. =/
Straight and to the point. I like it!
Does the dry texture mean that it cakes in fine lines? I'm a 25 year old obsessive sunscreen wearer and I still find many concealers find lines to cake in!
I desperately wanted to like this product, because I love the name and compact packaging. But, it does more harm than good and they should really just discontinue it. It gives Benefit a bad name. Yes, I do hate it that much!
Laura Mercier Eye Basics are easier to apply and come in a variety of neutral shades...
When I had Lemon Aid, I didn't use it so much to hide discoloration but rather as a primer. Now that it's all gone, I'm crazy lemming for Urban Decay Primer Potion. As far as concealers go, you really can't go wrong with Bo-ing.
