A New Impossible Coat Lemming
Long time readers and friends know that I have a great weakness for coats.
I literally lost my mind when I spotted the seafoam green ladylike coat on Gossip Girl. It is from the Valentino Resort collection from 2008.
Is it wrong to pray to the Forever21 gods for a rip off? Is is possible to locate a seafoam green coat with a peter pan collar? I am smitten and can not be consoled.
This could be my greatest love affair with a coat.

Well, Jenny is supposed to be relatively poor when compared with her classmates. Her father can afford a giant loft in New York, and private school tuition for two kids, and Jenny and Dan don't work. They're just not uber-rich like their classmates.
I TOTALLY was in love with that coat too

And Jenny's style is pretty hot :)
Oh and jenny also sold a LOT of her things to buy those expensive items.... so she's running out of cash now

That coat is amazing! Love the collar (I thought it was more beige, too, and wondered how, even with selling all that stuff, how could J afford it). It is definitely "love affair" inspiring!!
Anything with a peter pan or portrait collar has me looking twice. I hope you show more! My black portrait collar coat is on its last legs and I cry thinking I won't be able to replace it.
I really thought it looked mint green.
Maybe it is beige.......
I will have to look at pictures and double check. I like the idea of a mint green coat.
I also want a lilac coat with a peter pan collar.
I would love to decorate it with small violet flowers.

I adore the seafoam coat Jenny was wearing too! Even though I can't figure out how she suddenly owns all of these incredibly expensive clothes and bags. Handouts from her friends? I can't tell whether or not they knew at that point that she isn't as wealthy as them. *sigh* Oh, Gossip Girl.
