Sensuous Healing
Estee Lauder will be launching a new scent to join their fragrance stable.
I have been excited for this particular launch because it is a feminine take on a woody amber.
I am a devoted fan to amber and woods...so this is thrilling news for my nose.
Sensuous has a interesting list of notes. The top notes are amber and "Melted Woods NaturePrint". This appears to be Lauder technology.
The floral notes are Ghost Lily Accord, Magnolia, Jasmine Petals and Ylang Nature Intact, a very pure, highly refined natural Ylang extraction. The drydown is Sandalwood, Black Pepper, Juicy Mandarin Pulp and another Lauder techno gift, Honey NaturePrint.
The perfume will launch in June exclusively at Bloomingdales.
It will hit your local Lauder counter in July.
Lauder is going all out for the launch and is offering a free trip for two to NYC for the launch event to the meet the models, 2 $500 gift certificates to Bloomingdales, a spa experience and 2 gift baskets. To enter visit the Sensuous site and sign up!
It asks for your name, physical and email addresses, and bday.
It took 1 minute and is the easiest contest I have ever entered.
If you have smelled the scent let us know your thoughts in the comments.

smelled it- our EL counter manager had a sample. It's too much for me- it's definitely a strong scent. Very warm, tons of amber, sort of musky...not your typical fruity-fresh popular perfume, that's for sure!
I have smelled this- the EL SA was kind enough to share after she found out I was a perfume nut! It's very warm, ambery, slightly woody, and totally different from anything else from EL. I consider this to be a good thing - tired of fruit and flowers.
I think it will be a good fall scent and I will buy when it hits the counters.
I'm excited since I haven't smelled an Estee Lauder fragrance I didn't like.
I'm really excited to try this new addition by EL! The bottle reminds me of CHANCE by CHANEL.
No offense to Lauder, but why when we put the word "sensuous" on anything, the models for it always have the "girls" hanging out??? There ARE other ways to convey sensuality
Anon: I can not wait to test this.
Janine: I know. I can not say that I am crazy for this ad campaign.
This smells nice at first, but the drydown is ass. Do not want.
