What was the last product you used up?
Will you purchase it again?
Post your answer in the comments.
I am about to place an order with Beautyhabit to obtain another bottle of Sacrebleu. You can get 25% off your purchase with the code "luckybreaks2" until June 30th 2008.
Other products I have used up:
La Mer foundation
La Mer sample of moisturizing cream
Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Eye Treatment
Hamadi Shea Spray
Prime Time Primer
Paul & Joe Bleu and Blanc fragrances
Sensai Eye Contour Cream
I have repurchased backups of the Paul & Joe fragrances and the La Mer foundation.
I am in the market for a new primer product.

I wear the same face every day, so I use up products all the time. (A combination of Clinique, Lancome and Estee Lauder. Who loves GWPs? I do, I do!) If you're not adverse to using Clinique, I was surprised at how well their City Block SPF 40 works as a primer. I bought it for the sunscreen properties but was thrilled at how well my liquid foundation smoothed on after.
EL Advanced Night Repair Concentrate. Used last year, recently repurchased for another run.
EL Idealist Pore Refining Serum. But second bottle ended up going for swap.
Bobbi Brown Oil-Free Even Finish Foundation. Used and then changed to Armani Luminous Silk.
I alway go through Becca Tinted Moisturizer. I love it.
L'Oreal True Match Foundation. Great stuff!
Bliss face wash; I've used two bottles up, but I'm trying a new organic face wash this time and keeping my fingers crossed that it's okay. (I may go back to Bliss once I'm done/give up, though!)
My new HG primer is Hourglass' Veil Mineral Primer with SPF 15. I love it more than Smashbox. You've got to try it!

I think I got the last drops of foundation out of my bottle of Make Up For Ever Face & Body today, and I've already purchased a new bottle. I use it in combo with MAC Studio Fix Fluid, which I just recently replaced. The last foundation I finished was Chanel Vitalumiere creme, which I would repurchase.
I also am about to finish my tube of Smashbox primer, but I'm considering trying something different, maybe Face Time.
Bliss Clog Dissolving Cleansing Milk is another faithful repurchase.
I'm on the verge of replacing my Chanel Poudre Douce in Peche Tendre and a couple of weeks ago I bought a new MAC Plushlash mascara because the current one is getting old.
I just used up a jar of Lush Gorgeous moisturizer this morning. It gives just the right amount of moisture for my flaky-prone skin, while mattifying it at the same time.
It's funny how rare it seems to happen when I use up a product. :) I've heard of studies where women are more likely to re-buy products that *don't* work over those that do, to give it another chance.
I go through Smashbox Photo Finish primer like it's going out of style.
And I also love Neutrogena skin care products - they rarely disappoint. The acne masks and such are always in my medicine cabinet.
I'm currently using MAC's Prep+Prime SPF 50. I'm very fair, so the added benefit of the sunscreen is one that I love! I also think that you don't need a lot with this one to be effective, so it's economical.
wow, so many you have used up. I hardly ever do. Most recently it was Maybelline Superstay foundation that got used up. Covergirl Lash Blast is almost used up.
I have never used up a whole bottle of perfume yet. Just keep adding more. Used up half to 3/4 but not all.
i recently used up my Cle de Peau skincare system (day/night moisurizer, primer). I absolutely loved it, but worry it's not quite right for the climate i recently moved to, so I've been holding back on splurging again.
st. ives sensitive skin apricot scrub. been thinking of upping my exfoliant to the remede version.
benefit benetint. cannot. get. enough!
As an oily skin girl, I have to say that I LOVE Laura Mercier's primer. So smooth, oil controlling, and didn't get greasy within 5 minutes. Wish I had gotten it, again, instead of trying Smashbox....
Well as a product junkie Im always liking to try new products so I rarely replace. The products I have constantly bought are: Nars, Dolce Vita lipstick, Guerlain Bronzer, Laura Mercier Blu Marine cake liner, Cle De Peau concealer, Stephane Marais cream foundation (now hard to get so I usually settle for Cle de Peau), Kiss Me Mascara, Chanel Taupe eyebrow pencil and although it's a relatively new line I have went through 3 jars of Kate Somerville K8 peptide cream (my skin drinks it up). As far as primers go I actually like lighter ones like Napolean Perdis and the bottle is so 1920's cute. I am on a mission to find a great eyecream though so if anyone can provide suggestions on that one that would be awesome.
I used to be such a product junkie but since I have found a routine that works for me I don't change it up much....let's see
Guerlain Parure Powder Foundation - Just purchased my 2nd one.
Bliss Labs Sleeping Peel Cleansing Cream. They discontinued this so I have 8 sitting in my fridge
La Roche Posay - Toleraine cream
Dr. Brandt Pores No More
Dior Show Mascara
Sadly. I cannot say the same for eye shadows, lipsticks or blushes. i don't think I'll ever run out of those. lol
I have gone thought 2 tubs of Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter. I can't find anything withthe same scent that is better and I love the consistency too. It's one of my more spendy Target (read: Tar-jay) Purchases.
I use up my everyday and HG products:
MAC Brow Gel in Girl/Boy
Cover Girl Advance Radiance Foundation in Classic Ivory 110
Clinique Lucky Penny E/S
Arrogance Mix White Musk w/ Apple Perfume (I think Sephora D/C this)
Milani Luminous Blush
NARS Orgasm Blush
I am about to purchase two items that I used up:
Chanel tinted moisturizer
Face Time Primer
I bought it on your rec., and loved it. Just wondering why you are on the prowl for a new one.
I need to buy LM body cream but at 195 a jar, and the price of gas the way it is, I have turned down the LM SA who keeps calling the house.
i just finished 2 bottles of MUFE Face and Body, I had to mix the two to get the right color. I didn't repurchase, instead I am using up a bottle of Sally Hansen Carmindy foundation, which I like about half a hair better because it lasts a little longer on my face.
I always go through mascara, and I just finished a tube of Mac PLushlash and am working on a mini of Diorshow, and do not believe it to be "fulltube" worthy.
I always keep a backstock of eye makeup remover and was a long time fan of Lancome's bi-phase remover Bifacil, until I tried the Lumene one for half the price or less than if you can get it on sale.
Urban Decay Primer Potion, and instead of rebuying I went with one of Mac's paint pots as a shadow base and boy am I sorry. It sucked.
I also just finished a bottle of Lumene cleansing oil and don't think I will repurchase, but I am not sure why. I think I enjoy a more luxe cleanser.
There are certain staples that I go through regularly and others I have to eventually throw away because they go bad.
Staples:
MAC Vapour ES as a base
MAC Omega ES for brow color
MUFE Matte Velvet Foundation
MUFE Super Matte Powder
Max Factor Volume Couture Mascara
Max Factor Clear Mascara as brow gel
Kiehls lip balm
Angel perfume - I refill the bottle
Noir Epices perfume - I can't get enough
And last but not least I have an assortment of sunscreens that I am constantly purchasing. MAC Prep + Prime, PTR UberDry, Neutrogena Age Shield, and Paula's Choice Daily Mattifying SPF15
Geesh, looking at that list you would think I have 3 faces!
Clinique Redness Solutions Soothing Cleanser. The only cleanser I've found that actually cleans, exfoliates and visibly reduces redness. Good, good stuff!
Are you not a fan of BE PrimeTime? I'm not either - it managed to make my dry skin look greasy. No easy feat.
Hi Annie,
I've got a great primer for you to try - Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer - it's absolutely fantastic!
I have used up:
Flowerbelle spritzer parfums (but they're d/c'd now) : (
Lancome Teint Idole Foundation
Lancome Artliner eyeliner pens
MAC pigments
Px Colorscope Blushing Stick (need to get another)
St. Tropez Self Tanning Systems (love it)
Clarins Hydra Matte Lotion
Many Philosophy 3-in-1's
pRAWduct Shine Serum for Hair (THE best)
I think I could go on and on... I'm actually a bit surprised to see I have this much I've used up; many more than once.
MAC plush lash... I'm on my third tube. Cheap and reliable!
Dove Moisturizer with SPF 15. I've tried many different face lotions over the past year and I always keep coming back to this product.
Just used up AG's Re:Coil curl cream and this stuff is amazing! I will definitely repurchase.
Also, I finished off the last of my Aveda Brilliant Damage Control. I'll be switching back to Bumble & Bumble's Prep Spray. It's a few bucks more expensive but worth it.
I left my makeup bag on the train the other day and it contained all my staples. Everything is already ridiculously expensive in Australia - MAC is about twice as expensive here than in America - now I have to replace everything. :(
P.s. does anyone know what the difference between the Kevyn Aucoin curler and Shu curler? If any?
I've recently plowed through my two most beloved tinted moisturizers: La Mer "The SPF Fluid Tint" and BECCA "Luminous Skin Color". I absolutely intend to purchase both of them again, at some point!
I'm on my third jar of La Mer's Eye Concentrate. If I go without for more than a couple of days, the bags return. I don't care that it's $160; I have yet to find an eye cream that works better.
Also just finished Liz Earle's Cleanse and Polish and will repurchase, and I go through Dr. Hauschka's lip care stick and moor lavender body oil like water!
I'm finishing up my BE Prime Time as well; next primer will likely be MAC's SPF 50 or the Hourglass one a couple of people here have raved about. :)
I haven't used anything up since high school, which was 6 years ago. It all went downhill from there.
That said, I'm contemplating whether I should take advantage of the BH code and get SL's Un Lys, or buy a less expensive alternative -- AL Madonna Lily.
Decisions, decisions. May sound frivolous to others, but this is a pressing matter to me. Heh.
i am such a terrible buy-a-holic i almost NEVER use a product up! it's very rare for me to buy the same thing twice, but lately there have been 3 things that i keep repurchasing over and over again:
1. Prevage Eye Cream- the ONLY thing that has ever helped with my genetic dark circles AND made the beginnings of tiny fine lines under my lower lashline disappear!
2. Cover Girl Volume Exact Mascara- i really LOVE this stuff, and i never, EVER, EVER repurchase the same mascara twice! it gives the best results- long, fluttery, perfectly separated with the perfect amount of volume and curl-holding!
3. Kiehl's Heat Protective Straightening Cream- i went from using 3 different hair products everytime i styled to JUST this one right before i blowdry, it's HEAVEN!!!

Smashbox Photo Finish primer, YSL volumizing mascara and Laura Mercier eye basics in Wheat. Those are things I continually buy and again and again.
I'm such a creature of habit. There are a handful of things I love more than anything and keep using up. These are:
- Clinique Pore Minimiser Instant Perfector, my absolute grail mattifying primer. I plan on buying this duty free when I head to the States on Monday, as I foolishly decided to try Becca's mattifying primer, which would be fine for someone with less oily skin than mine.
- Neutrogena Deep Clean cleanser.
- Paula's Choice antioxidant concentrate and BHA gel.
- Cancer Council Everyday sunscreen, for everything south of my neck. The best textured sunscreen I've ever found, and it's dirt cheap.
- Clinique City Block Sheer for my face.
- Becca concealer.
- Becca Luminous Skin Tint.
- Palmers' lotion, which I've been using every day since I was a teenager.
- Forever and always Mitsouko. It's just what I smell like.
- Aesop Resurrection Hand Balm, the greatest hand cream ever.
Last product I used up: Frederic Fekkai Glossing Cream
I will definitely repurchase it. My primer of choice is Dr. Brandt Pores No More.
Coachwife: My skin has undergone a dramatic change. It is so dry and seems to rebelling against silicon.
I still stand by that review. It is the best silicon primer on the planet.
My skin just can not handle it anymore.
I hope to find a moisturizing formula that mimics Prime's fantastic results.
I love Too Faced Lash Injection mascara in black. I've used others, but I continue to get better results with the mandarin infused Lash Injection. I love Chanel's Sublimage eye cream. It's the best I've ever used. I also love Clarins Instant Light Complexion Perfector as my primer.
Thanks annieytown.
I regularly use up:
Clinique Touch Base in Canvas (been using touch Base for 20 years)
La Mer cream, moisturizer, and eye cream

Paula Dorf Velvet lipstick
Paula Dorf Bark shadow
Stila Sin and Orgasm blush
Stila Fathom shadow
